Explain Button

Summarizes any page, rewrites it simply or technically, defines its jargon, answers questions about it with citations, and reads any of that aloud with the current sentence highlighted as it plays.

How the Explain Button works

Pick a mode — Summary, Explain Like I'm 12, Expert, Key Terms, or Full Narration — and the Explain button reads the page and produces it, with a plain-English extractive version available even with no AI plan connected. Ask it a direct question and it answers using only what's on the page, quoting the exact sentence it came from. Every mode can be read aloud through a real chunked speech player — play, pause, skip, change speed or voice — with the paragraph currently being read highlighted on the page itself.

Why it matters

Long, jargon-heavy pages — insurance policies, research papers, government notices — are exactly where reading comprehension breaks down. This turns any of them into a plain-language version you can read or, just as easily, listen to hands-free.
