The same mic button listens for voice commands on the first click and reads the current page aloud on the second — one control, two hands-free modes, a third click to turn it off.
How the Read Aloud (Mic Click-Cycle) works
Click once and the mic arms for voice commands; click again and it switches straight into reading the current page aloud, using a Google US English voice by default; a third click turns everything off. Reading and voice commands share the same speech engine, so whichever you touch last is the one actually running — nothing overlaps or talks over itself.
Why it matters
Most browsers make you dig into a menu to find "read this page," and a separate control for voice input. This is one button, one habit, for both.
