The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of subscriber growth with a visual growth chart (SVG line chart) and trend indicators. Total subscribers, new subscribers, and unsubscribes are shown with color-coded indicators—green for new, red for unsubscribes. Engagement metrics including open rates and click rates are displayed with color-coded performance indicators. The growth trend is shown with an icon and color coding—green for Growing, yellow for Stable, and red for Declining. This provides a complete, visual overview of your beehiiv subscriber growth and engagement.

This extension operates exclusively on beehiiv.com domain pages that contain subscriber analytics and dashboard content—specifically pages with "/analytics", "/dashboard", "/subscribers", or "/growth" in the URL path, or pages that display subscriber statistics and growth data. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The subscriber growth chart runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All subscriber data extraction, chart rendering, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your analytics data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this growth chart, navigate to any beehiiv analytics or subscriber page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total subscribers, new subscribers, and unsubscribes. The "Growth Trend" section shows the current trend with an icon and color-coded indicator. The "Growth Chart" section displays a visual line chart showing subscriber growth over time. The "Engagement" section shows open rates and click rates with color-coded performance indicators. The panel provides a complete, visual overview of your subscriber growth and engagement metrics.

SUBSCRIBER DATA EXTRACTION AND GROWTH VISUALIZATION

The subscriber growth chart uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse subscriber data from beehiiv pages. It first attempts to find structured analytics elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including subscriber statistics, analytics containers, and growth indicators. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for subscriber-related patterns using pattern matching for subscriber counts, rates, and trend labels. Total subscribers are extracted through pattern matching for "total subscribers" or "audience" labels with numeric values. New subscribers are extracted through pattern matching for "new subscribers" labels with numeric values. Unsubscribes are extracted through pattern matching for "unsubscribes" labels with numeric values. Open rates are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "open rate" labels. Click rates are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "click rate" labels. Growth trend is determined by comparing new subscribers and unsubscribes or through pattern matching for trend labels. The growth chart is rendered using SVG with a line chart showing subscriber growth over time, with data points and area fill for visual clarity. Period information is extracted when available. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.

THE PANEL

The subscriber growth chart panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the beehiiv analytics page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track your growth. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and growth tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the subscriber growth chart does not work standalone. beehiiv occasionally updates its page layouts and analytics presentation formats, which may temporarily affect subscriber data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts subscriber data from the visible page content; if analytics information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. The growth chart uses SVG rendering and may vary based on the amount of data available. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all subscriber data extraction, chart rendering, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
