About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Better Proposals Web Acceptance Status Badge automatically scans Better Proposals proposal and status pages to extract comprehensive proposal data including proposal title, client name, proposal status (Accepted, Pending, Viewed, Declined, Expired), acceptance date, and proposal value. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of proposal acceptance status with color-coded indicators—green for Accepted, yellow for Pending, blue for Viewed, red for Declined, and gray for Expired. Summary statistics show counts for each status. Success rate is calculated as the percentage of accepted proposals, displayed with color-coding (green for 50%+, yellow for below 50%). Total accepted value and total proposal value are shown. Each proposal displays its title, client, status badge, value, and acceptance date. Quick stats show total value, pending value, average proposal value, and total proposals. This provides a complete, organized view of your proposal acceptance status and helps you track success rates.
WHERE IT RUNS
This extension operates exclusively on betterproposals.io domain pages that contain proposal and status content—specifically pages with "/proposal", "/proposals", "/status", or "/dashboard" in the URL path, or pages that display proposal listings and status information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The acceptance status badge runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All proposal data extraction, status analysis, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your proposal data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.
HOW TO USE
After installing both BotGentz and this acceptance status badge, navigate to any Better Proposals proposal or status page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with counts for Accepted, Pending, Viewed, and Declined proposals. Success rate and accepted value are shown. The "Proposals" section lists each proposal with its title, client, status badge (color-coded), value, and acceptance date. Proposals are sorted by status priority—Accepted first, then Viewed, Pending, Declined, and Expired. The "Quick Stats" section shows total value, pending value, average proposal value, and total proposals. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your proposal acceptance status and success rates.
PROPOSAL STATUS DATA EXTRACTION AND SUCCESS RATE ANALYSIS
The acceptance status badge uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse proposal data from Better Proposals pages. It first attempts to find structured proposal elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "proposal-item," "proposal-card," "status-item," and "proposal-row." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for proposal-related patterns using pattern matching for proposal titles, client labels, status keywords, and date formats. Proposal titles are extracted from title elements or through pattern matching. Client names are extracted through pattern matching for "client:" labels or element selectors. Proposal status is determined through keyword detection for "Accepted," "Pending," "Viewed," "Declined," or "Expired." Acceptance dates are extracted through pattern matching for "accepted:" or "accepted on" labels with date formats. Proposal values are extracted through pattern matching for dollar amounts. Success rate is calculated as (accepted proposals / total proposals) × 100. Accepted value is the sum of all accepted proposal values. Proposals are sorted by status priority with Accepted first. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.
THE PANEL
The acceptance status badge panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Better Proposals status page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track your proposals. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and status tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.
PLEASE NOTE
This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the acceptance status badge does not work standalone. Better Proposals occasionally updates its page layouts and status presentation formats, which may temporarily affect proposal data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts proposal data from the visible page content; if status information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Status classification and success rate calculations are based on extracted data and are provided as a reference—always verify your actual proposal statuses on the official Better Proposals platform. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all proposal data extraction, status analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal proposal tracking and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Better Proposals or its parent company. Proposal status data is subject to Better Proposals' terms; always review your official Better Proposals account for authoritative proposal information.
