WHAT IT DOES

Bizzabo Web Session Schedule Overlay automatically scans Bizzabo event session and schedule pages to extract comprehensive session data including session title, speaker name, session time, room location, session track, and session status (Upcoming, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled). The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a schedule of upcoming sessions with a countdown to the next session. Sessions that are starting soon (within 15 minutes) are highlighted with a yellow "Starting Soon" badge. A summary shows total sessions, upcoming sessions, and sessions starting soon. Session tracks are aggregated with counts for quick reference. Each session displays its title, speaker, time, room, and track. This provides a complete, organized view of your event schedule and helps you stay on top of upcoming sessions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on bizzabo.com domain pages that contain event session and schedule content—specifically pages with "/event", "/schedule", "/agenda", or "/sessions" in the URL path, or pages that display session listings and event schedules. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The session schedule overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All session data extraction, schedule organization, and tracking preferences are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your event data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this session schedule overlay, navigate to any Bizzabo event schedule or session page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total sessions, upcoming sessions, and sessions starting soon. The "Sessions" section lists each session with its title, speaker, time, room, track, and status badge. Sessions starting soon are highlighted with a yellow badge. The "Tracks" section shows all session tracks with counts. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your event schedule and helps you plan your attendance.

SESSION DATA EXTRACTION AND SCHEDULE ORGANIZATION

The session schedule overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse session data from Bizzabo pages. It first attempts to find structured session elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "session-item," "session-card," "schedule-item," and "agenda-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for session-related patterns using pattern matching for session titles, speaker names, time formats, and track keywords. Session titles are extracted from title elements or through pattern matching. Speaker names are extracted through pattern matching for "speaker:" labels or element selectors. Session times are extracted through pattern matching for time formats. Room locations are extracted through pattern matching for "room:" or "location:" labels. Session tracks are extracted through pattern matching for "track:" labels or hashtags. Session status is determined through keyword detection for "In Progress," "Upcoming," "Completed," or "Cancelled." Starting soon detection uses a time-based heuristic that compares session times to the current time. Session tracks are aggregated with counts for summary display. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel.

THE PANEL

The session schedule overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Bizzabo event page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you manage your schedule. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and schedule view preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the session schedule overlay does not work standalone. Bizzabo occasionally updates its page layouts and schedule presentation formats, which may temporarily affect session data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts session data from the visible page content; if schedule information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Starting soon detection is based on a time-based heuristic and may not be accurate for all sessions—always check the official schedule for exact times. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all session data extraction, schedule organization, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
