Create Limit Order on 1inch

WHAT IT DOES

This tool connects to your EVM wallet and the 1inch Limit Order Protocol to create custom limit orders. It reads your token balances and allowances, fetches current exchange rates from the 1inch API, and lets you specify the token pair, amount to sell, limit price, and expiration time. Once you review the order details, the tool constructs the order transaction and asks your wallet to sign and submit it. The tool checks your allowance and requests approval if needed before placing the order.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any wallet supported by the BGWallet bridge). Select the network where you want to place the order. Enter the token addresses for the pair you want to trade and the amount you wish to sell. Set your desired limit price (buy token amount per sell token) and an expiration time in seconds. Click "Estimate" to preview the order details, then click "Place Limit Order" or "Sign & Place Order" to submit. Your wallet will prompt you to sign the transaction.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses the 1inch Limit Order Protocol API v5.0 to construct the order data. When you submit a limit order, the tool builds the order payload with your specified parameters and calls the 1inch API endpoint that returns the encoded transaction data. The tool then sends this transaction through your connected wallet. The API handles order verification, signature requirements, and settlement routing. The tool also checks your allowance against the 1inch Aggregation Router address (0x11111112542D85B3EF69AE05771c2dCCff4fAa26) and requests approval if the allowance is insufficient.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot see orders placed outside your connected wallet. It cannot guarantee that your order will execute—execution depends on market conditions and the 1inch protocol's settlement mechanism. It cannot cancel orders placed through other interfaces, and it cannot see orders created through other wallets or methods. The tool does not provide real-time order book depth or fill status beyond what the 1inch API returns at the time of order creation. It cannot verify whether your limit price is realistically fillable given current market conditions.
