About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Cults3D Web Download Queue Manager transforms the tedious process of downloading multiple 3D model files into a streamlined, organized workflow. When you visit any Cults3D model page, the tool automatically scans and identifies all available downloadable file formats including STL, OBJ, 3MF, AMF, STEP, and others. It displays each file with its type, size, and version information in a clear list with checkboxes. You can select multiple files, add them to a download queue, and the tool will download them one after another automatically. A progress indicator shows which file is currently downloading and how many remain in the queue. The panel also maintains a download history so you can track what you've previously downloaded. This eliminates the manual clicking, waiting, and tracking that normally accompanies downloading multiple files from Cults3D, especially for complex models with many variations or parts.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on cults3d.com domain pages, specifically on individual model pages that display downloadable file content. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The queue manager runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All file detection, queue management, and download triggering occurs on your machine, ensuring your browsing activity and download patterns remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge. The tool works with both free and premium models where you have access rights.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this queue manager, simply navigate to any model page on Cults3D. Within 1-2 seconds of the page loading, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner showing "Available Files" with a list of all downloadable files on the page. Each file entry includes its format type, filename, file size, and version number where available. Check the box next to each file you want to download, or leave them all checked by default. Click "Download All Selected" to add all checked files to the queue. The panel will display the queue order and automatically start downloading the first file. When that download completes, the tool waits briefly then automatically starts the next file in queue. You can watch the progress indicator to see which file is downloading and how many remain. Use "Start Queue" to begin downloading if auto-start is disabled, or "Clear Queue" to empty the queue without downloading. The "Show History" button displays your five most recent downloads with timestamps.

FILE DETECTION AND QUEUE MECHANISM

The queue manager employs a robust file detection system that combines multiple strategies to locate downloadable content on Cults3D pages. Rather than relying on a single selector that can break with site updates, it uses a cascade of detection methods: first scanning for known download button classes and attributes, then examining all links for common 3D file extensions (.stl, .obj, .3mf, .amf, .step, .stp), and finally analyzing link text content for format indicators. The tool deduplicates files by URL to prevent duplicate entries. For queue management, the tool stores the download queue in memory and uses a sequential processing model where each download must complete (or timeout after a safe period) before the next begins. This prevents browser throttling that can occur with concurrent downloads and ensures each file downloads completely. The queue state, auto-start preference, and per-file selection states are persisted using GM_setValue so your settings survive page refreshes.

THE PANEL

The download queue manager panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Cults3D page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you browse the model page. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position and collapse state preferences are saved locally and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the queue manager does not work standalone. Cults3D occasionally updates its page layouts, which may temporarily affect file detection. The tool detects files based on visible page elements and may not detect files that require additional user actions (such as accepting terms or unlocking content). The download mechanism triggers browser downloads through simulated clicks; some browsers may prompt for download location confirmation depending on your settings. The queue manager does not store or transmit any data; all processing and history is performed entirely within your browser using GM_setValue. Download history is limited to the last 100 entries to maintain performance. Always ensure you have the legal right to download files from Cults3D before using this tool.
