WHAT IT DOES
This productivity tool revolutionizes Etsy shipping management by enabling bulk shipping profile assignment across multiple listings simultaneously. It scans your current Etsy seller listing page, extracts all visible listings including their titles, SKUs, and current shipping profiles. You can then filter listings by SKU or shipping profile name, select individual listings or use the select-all-filtered feature, choose a destination shipping profile from the dropdown, and apply that profile to all selected listings with one click. The script handles the entire workflow automatically, opening each listing's edit modal and assigning the shipping profile through Etsy's own UI controls.
WHERE IT RUNS
This script operates exclusively on Etsy seller listing pages at *://*.etsy.com/sell/manager/listings, *://*.etsy.com/your/shops//listings, and *://*.etsy.com/sell/listings. It integrates as a floating panel on the left side of your browser window when you navigate to your Etsy shop listings. The tool works with Etsy's dynamic React-based interface, detecting listings regardless of how they're rendered on the page and adapting to Etsy's frequent UI changes.
HOW TO USE
Navigate to your Etsy seller listings page (any of the supported URLs).
The panel appears automatically on the left side of the screen.
Click "Refresh" to load all visible listings from the current page.
Use the filter input to search listings by title or SKU.
Use the shipping profile filter to show only listings with specific profiles.
Check the boxes next to listings you want to modify, or use "Select All Filtered".
Choose a destination shipping profile from the dropdown menu.
Click "Apply Profile to Selected" to begin the batch assignment process.
The status bar shows progress and any errors encountered during processing.
PROPAGATION EVENT MECHANISM
The tool succeeds where browser extensions fail because it operates directly within Etsy's own JavaScript context, bypassing cross-origin restrictions that prevent external extensions from accessing Etsy's internal React state. It uses React event propagation by dispatching both "input" and "change" events with proper bubbling flags (bubbles: true), ensuring Etsy's virtual DOM reconciles the profile selection correctly and persists the change. The script implements a concurrency cap of 4 simultaneous operations with 300ms spacing between each, preventing Etsy's rate limiting from blocking requests while maintaining efficient throughput. This approach mimics genuine user interaction at the framework level.
THE PANEL
The floating panel is draggable to any position on screen and remembers its location between sessions using GM_setValue. It automatically collapses to a small icon when minimized and expands on hover or click. The panel is resizable to suit your workspace needs and can be dismissed with the Escape key. It snaps to the left edge by default but can be positioned anywhere, with position persisted across browsing sessions for consistent placement.

Etsy frequently updates its seller interface, which may temporarily break functionality; updates are released regularly to maintain compatibility. The tool only reads visible listing information from the page and does not store or transmit any data externally. All processing occurs locally in your browser. Shipping profiles are applied exactly as selected; verify your profile choices before bulk application to avoid incorrect shipping configurations on your listings.
