About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Google Drive Storage Quota Badge scans your Google Drive pages and displays a floating badge with your current storage usage. It extracts quota data from the Drive sidebar or footer, showing used space, total space, and percentage used. The badge is color-coded: green when usage is under 70%, yellow for 70-90%, and red for over 90%. A progress bar visually represents your usage, and the badge also shows remaining space and a breakdown by file type—Google Docs, Photos, Videos, PDFs, and other files—when available. You can copy the entire quota summary as text for reporting or tracking. The badge updates automatically when the page changes, so you always see the latest storage status. This helps you monitor your Google Drive storage, avoid hitting your quota, and identify which file types are taking up the most space.
WHERE IT RUNS
This script runs on Google Drive web pages (*.drive.google.com/*) within the google.com domain. It operates entirely within your browser tab, reading the page's DOM to locate quota data in the sidebar or footer. The script cannot access other tabs, your browsing history, bookmarks, downloads, or any data outside the current page. All settings—including badge position, remaining space visibility, file type breakdown visibility, color thresholds, auto-detect preference, and refresh interval—are stored locally using GM_setValue and never transmitted anywhere.
HOW TO USE
After installing with the BotGentz extension, the script automatically detects Google Drive pages and displays the storage quota badge (if auto-detect is enabled). The badge shows your used/total space, percentage used with a color-coded indicator, a progress bar, remaining space, and a file type breakdown. Click "Load Quota Data" to manually refresh the data. Customize the badge position (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, or float), toggle remaining space and file type breakdown on or off, adjust color thresholds (green
