WHAT IT DOES

Gym Class Waitlist Notifier helps you track your position on gym class waitlists with real-time updates and alerts. The script monitors waitlist pages, extracting your position, total waitlist size, class capacity, available spots, class times, and instructor information. A visible badge shows your waitlist position with color-coded urgency: green for positions 1-2 (great chance), yellow for 3-5 (good chance), orange for 6-10 (maybe), and red for 10+ (unlikely). The script tracks position changes over time and alerts you when you move up the list or when a spot opens. A likelihood indicator calculates your estimated chance of getting into the class based on your position and class capacity. Real-time updates keep you informed so you can plan your workout schedule accordingly.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script operates on all major gym class booking platforms including Mindbody, FitGrid, ClassPass, GymMaster, Wodify, Glofox, Zen Planner, and Vagaro. It works on waitlist pages, class schedule views, booking dashboards, and class detail pages. The script automatically detects which platform you're using and adapts its extraction logic to that site's specific interface.

HOW TO USE

After installing through the BotGentz extension, navigate to your gym's class waitlist page or booking dashboard. The script automatically scans the page for waitlist information and displays your position and status. Use the configuration panel to customize your experience: toggle the position badge on or off, show or hide the capacity badge, enable or disable the likelihood indicator, and configure alert preferences. Enable "Alert when a spot opens" to receive browser notifications when a spot becomes available. Enable "Alert on position change" to be notified when you move up the waitlist. The panel displays real-time statistics including your position, total waitlist size, available spots, and your likelihood percentage. The panel also includes a manual refresh button to update the status at any time.

PLATFORM-ADAPTIVE WAITLIST EXTRACTION WITH POSITION TRACKING ENGINE

This script implements a specialized extraction engine that adapts to each gym booking platform's unique HTML structure. The engine uses platform-specific CSS selectors to detect waitlist position elements, class capacity displays, spot availability indicators, and class detail fields. When specific selectors fail, the engine falls back to text pattern matching, scanning page content for waitlist-related keywords and numbers. The position tracking engine stores your position history locally, enabling trend analysis and movement detection. The likelihood calculation uses both your absolute position and the total waitlist size to estimate your chances, with a heuristic model calibrated against common gym class dynamics. The alert engine triggers notifications when position improves or spots become available, using GM_notification for browser-level alerts.

THE PANEL

The configuration panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per-site using GM_setValue. It snaps to screen edges when dragged near them, collapses to a compact bubble when minimized, and supports Escape key for quick collapse. All settings—including badge visibility, capacity display, likelihood tracking, alert preferences, and auto-refresh interval—are persisted across sessions.

Gym booking platforms periodically update their page structures, which may affect the script's ability to monitor waitlists—we actively maintain the script and release updates to ensure compatibility. The script reads only publicly visible waitlist data displayed on the page and does not access hidden fields, passwords, or sensitive account information. All waitlist history and settings are stored locally in your browser using GM_setValue and never transmitted to external servers. This tool is designed to help you get into classes you want and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any gym or booking platform.
