About this app

WHAT IT DOES

IdentityForce Web Dark Web Scan Result Overlay automatically scans IdentityForce dark web scan result pages to extract comprehensive exposed data including data type (Email, Password, SSN, Credit Card, Phone, Address, Username, Date of Birth, Medical), exposure source, date detected, and severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low). The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of dark web scan results with color-coded severity indicators—red for critical, orange for high, yellow for medium, and gray for low. Exposed data is grouped by category and highlighted with icons for each data type, with the most critical exposures shown first. Recommended actions are provided for each type of exposure to help you secure your information. You can mark exposures as reviewed with a single click, and your review status is saved across sessions. Summary statistics show total exposures, critical exposures, and high exposures. This provides a complete, prioritized overview of your dark web scan results.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on identityforce.com domain pages that contain dark web scan result content—specifically pages with "/scan", "/dark-web", or "/results" in the URL path, or pages that display dark web monitoring results and exposed data findings. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The dark web scan overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All scan result data extraction, severity analysis, and review tracking are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your dark web exposure data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this scan results overlay, navigate to any IdentityForce dark web scan result page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total exposures, critical exposures, and high exposures. The "Exposures" section lists each exposure with its type icon, severity badge (color-coded), description, source, and date detected. Critical exposures are shown first for immediate attention. Recommended actions are displayed for each exposure type. Click the "Mark Reviewed" button next to any exposure to track that you have reviewed and addressed it—the exposure will be dimmed and your review status is saved automatically. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your dark web scan results.

DARK WEB EXPOSURE EXTRACTION AND SEVERITY CLASSIFICATION

The dark web scan overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse exposure data from IdentityForce pages. It first attempts to find structured exposure elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "exposure-item," "result-item," "finding-item," and "scan-result." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for exposure-related patterns using pattern matching for terms like "exposed," "found," "breach," "leak," or "compromised." Data types are classified using a comprehensive keyword mapping system: "email" or "e-mail" maps to Email (medium severity); "password," "pass," or "pw" to Password (high); "ssn," "social security," or "social" to SSN (critical); "credit card," "cc," "card number," or "payment card" to Credit Card (critical); "phone," "mobile," or "cell" to Phone (medium); "address," "street," or "mailing" to Address (medium); "username" or "user name" to Username (medium); "date of birth," "dob," or "birthday" to Date of Birth (high); and "medical," "health," or "insurance id" to Medical (high). Sources and dates are extracted through pattern matching, and recommended actions are extracted through pattern matching for "action:" or "recommend:" labels. Review status is stored using GM_setValue and persists across sessions.

THE PANEL

The dark web scan overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the IdentityForce scan results page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you review your scan results. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and exposure review status are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the dark web scan overlay does not work standalone. IdentityForce occasionally updates its page layouts and scan result presentation formats, which may temporarily affect exposure data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts scan result data from the visible page content; if results are loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Severity classification is based on data type and is provided as a reference—always review the actual exposure details on the official IdentityForce platform. Recommended actions are extracted from the page and are provided for guidance—always follow the security recommendations from IdentityForce and take appropriate action to protect your information. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all exposure data extraction, severity analysis, review tracking, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal security monitoring and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IdentityForce or its parent company. Dark web exposures are serious security matters; always review your official IdentityForce scan results and follow recommended security actions to protect your personal information.
