WHAT IT DOES

Khan Academy Web SAT Practice Score Tracker automatically scans Khan Academy SAT practice and score pages to extract comprehensive SAT score data including total score, section scores (Math, Reading, Writing), question breakdown (correct/total), practice time, and score history. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of SAT practice scores with score trends and improvement tracking. Recent score changes are highlighted, and progress toward your target score is shown with a visual progress bar. A score history section shows your score progression over time. You can set a target score goal (400-1600), and the tool tracks your progress toward that goal, showing remaining points needed. Section scores are displayed with color-coded indicators—Math in blue, Reading in yellow, Writing in purple. This provides a complete, organized view of your SAT practice performance.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on khanacademy.org domain pages that contain SAT practice and score content—specifically pages with "/sat", "/scores", "/practice", or "/test-prep" in the URL path, or pages that display SAT practice results and score information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The SAT score tracker runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All score data extraction, progress tracking, and goal preferences are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your score data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this SAT score tracker, navigate to any Khan Academy SAT practice or score page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying your current scores. The "Current Scores" section shows your total, math, reading, and writing scores with color-coded indicators. The "Target Progress" section shows your progress toward your target score with a progress bar and remaining points. The "Set Target" section lets you adjust your target score—enter a new goal and it is saved automatically. The "Questions" section shows your accuracy and practice time. The "History" section shows your score history. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your SAT practice performance and progress.

SAT SCORE DATA EXTRACTION AND TRACKING

The SAT score tracker uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse score data from Khan Academy pages. It first attempts to find structured score elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including SAT score displays, practice results, and section score elements. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for score-related patterns using pattern matching for score ranges, section labels, and question counts. Total scores are extracted through pattern matching for "total score" or "score" labels with three- or four-digit numbers. Section scores are extracted through pattern matching for "math," "reading," or "writing" labels with numeric values. Question breakdowns are extracted through pattern matching for "X/Y" correct/total patterns. Practice time is extracted through pattern matching for minute values. Score history is extracted from the page when available. Target scores are stored using GM_setValue and persist across sessions. Progress toward the target is calculated as a percentage of the current score relative to the target, with a color-coded progress bar.

THE PANEL

The SAT score tracker panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Khan Academy SAT practice page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track your scores. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and target score preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the SAT score tracker does not work standalone. Khan Academy occasionally updates its page layouts and score presentation formats, which may temporarily affect score data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts score data from the visible page content; if score information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Target scores are for personal tracking only and do not affect your Khan Academy account. Score trends and progress tracking are based on extracted data and are provided as a reference. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all score data extraction, progress tracking, goal preferences, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
