WHAT IT DOES

LearnDash Web Quiz Score Overlay automatically scans LearnDash quiz result and score pages to extract comprehensive quiz data including quiz title, student name, score percentage, correct answers, incorrect answers, total questions, time taken, passing status, passing score, and a question-by-question breakdown of correct and incorrect answers. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of quiz scores with color-coded performance indicators—green for 80%+, yellow for 60-79%, and red for below 60%. Passing status is prominently displayed in green for Passed or red for Failed. A question breakdown shows each question with a checkmark for correct answers and an X for incorrect answers. This provides a complete, organized view of quiz performance and helps identify areas for improvement.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on learndash.com domain pages that contain quiz result and score content—specifically pages with "/quiz", "/results", or "/score" in the URL path, or pages that display quiz results and scoring information. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The quiz score overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All quiz data extraction, score tracking, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your quiz data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this quiz score overlay, navigate to any LearnDash quiz result or score page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying the quiz title and student name. The "Score" section shows the score percentage with a color-coded progress bar, correct/total answers, incorrect answers, and time taken. The "Status" section shows passing status and passing score. The "Breakdown" section lists each question with a checkmark for correct answers and an X for incorrect answers. The panel provides a complete, organized view of quiz performance and helps identify areas for improvement.

QUIZ DATA EXTRACTION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

The quiz score overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse quiz data from LearnDash pages. It first attempts to find structured quiz elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including quiz result containers, score displays, and question items. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for quiz-related patterns using pattern matching for percentages, answer counts, and question labels. Quiz titles are extracted from title elements or through pattern matching. Student names are extracted through pattern matching for "student:" or "name:" labels. Score percentages are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "score," "grade," or "result" labels. Correct and incorrect answers are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "correct," "right," "incorrect," or "wrong" labels. Total questions are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "questions," "q," or "total" labels. Time taken is extracted through pattern matching for "time taken" or "took" labels. Passing status is determined through keyword detection for "Passed" or "Failed." Passing scores are extracted through pattern matching for percentage values with "passing score" labels. Question breakdown is extracted from question elements, with correctness determined through keyword detection for "correct" or "incorrect." All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded performance indicators.

THE PANEL

The quiz score overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the LearnDash quiz page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you review quiz results. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and score tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the quiz score overlay does not work standalone. LearnDash occasionally updates its page layouts and quiz presentation formats, which may temporarily affect quiz data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts quiz data from the visible page content; if quiz results are loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Question breakdown extraction is based on pattern matching and may not capture all question types with perfect accuracy. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all quiz data extraction, score tracking, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
