WHAT IT DOES

Linktree Web Click Analytics Overlay automatically scans Linktree analytics and link pages to extract comprehensive click data including total clicks, unique clicks, total links, top-performing links with click counts, click trend (High, Medium, Low, No Activity), and period information. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of click analytics with a visual bar chart and top links breakdown. Total clicks, unique clicks, and total links are displayed with color-coded values. Top-performing links are listed with click counts and percentage bars. A click trend indicator shows overall engagement level with an icon and color coding—green for High, yellow for Medium, orange for Low, and gray for No Activity. A simple bar chart visualizes the top links for quick comparison. This provides a complete, visual overview of your Linktree click performance.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on linktr.ee domain pages that contain analytics and link content—specifically pages with "/analytics", "/stats", "/links", or "/dashboard" in the URL path, or pages that display click statistics and link performance data. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The click analytics overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All click data extraction, chart rendering, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your analytics data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this analytics overlay, navigate to any Linktree analytics or links page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total clicks, unique clicks, and total links. The "Click Trend" section shows overall engagement level with an icon and color-coded indicator. The "Top Links" section lists top-performing links with click counts and percentage progress bars. The "Chart" section displays a simple bar chart visualizing the top links. The panel provides a complete, visual overview of your Linktree click performance.

CLICK DATA EXTRACTION AND PERFORMANCE VISUALIZATION

The click analytics overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse click data from Linktree pages. It first attempts to find structured analytics elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including analytics containers, link items, and click statistics. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for click-related patterns using pattern matching for click counts, link names, and period labels. Total clicks are extracted through pattern matching for "total clicks" labels with numeric values. Unique clicks are extracted through pattern matching for "unique clicks" labels with numeric values. Link clicks are extracted from link containers or through pattern matching for link names and click counts. Click trend is determined based on total clicks: over 1000 maps to High, 100-1000 to Medium, 1-100 to Low, and 0 to No Activity. Top links are sorted by click count, with percentage bars showing relative performance. A simple SVG bar chart visualizes the top 5 links. Period information is extracted when available. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.

THE PANEL

The click analytics overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Linktree analytics page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track your performance. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and analytics tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the click analytics overlay does not work standalone. Linktree occasionally updates its page layouts and analytics presentation formats, which may temporarily affect click data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts click data from the visible page content; if analytics information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. The bar chart uses SVG rendering and may vary based on the number of top links available. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all click data extraction, chart rendering, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser.
