About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Missive Web Team Inbox Response Time Badge automatically scans Missive team inbox and conversation pages to extract comprehensive response time data including first response time, average response time, response time by team member, and SLA compliance. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of inbox response times with color-coded indicators—green for fast (under 1 hour), yellow for moderate (1-3 hours), and red for slow (over 3 hours). Summary statistics show average response time, fastest team member, and number of SLA warnings. Team performance is displayed with each member's average response time and a trophy icon for the fastest member. SLA warnings are prominently displayed with an alert when conversations are approaching SLA limits. Quick stats show team size, total conversations, and the slowest team member. This provides a complete, organized view of team response time performance.
WHERE IT RUNS
This extension operates exclusively on missiveapp.com domain pages that contain team inbox and conversation content—specifically pages with "/inbox", "/conversations", "/team", or "/dashboard" in the URL path, or pages that display conversation lists and response data. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The response time badge runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All response time data extraction, performance analysis, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your inbox data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.
HOW TO USE
After installing both BotGentz and this response time badge, navigate to any Missive team inbox or conversation page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with average response time, fastest team member, and SLA warnings. The "Team Performance" section shows each team member with their average response time color-coded by speed. The "SLA Alert" section shows the number of conversations approaching SLA limits. Quick stats display team size, total conversations, and the slowest team member. The panel provides a complete, organized view of response time metrics and helps you identify performance bottlenecks.
RESPONSE TIME DATA EXTRACTION AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
The response time badge uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse response time data from Missive pages. It first attempts to find structured conversation and assignment elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "conversation-item," "conversation-row," "inbox-item," and "thread-item." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for response-related patterns using pattern matching for assignee names, time indicators, and SLA labels. Assignee names are extracted through pattern matching for "assigned to" labels with name patterns. Response times are extracted through pattern matching for time values with "min," "hour," or "day" units. SLA warnings are identified through keyword detection for "SLA," "breach," "approaching," or "due." Response times are converted to minutes for comparison and analysis. Team members' average response times are calculated by dividing total response time by conversation count. The fastest and slowest members are identified, and color-coded indicators are applied based on response time thresholds. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.
THE PANEL
The response time badge panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Missive inbox page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you monitor response times. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and response time tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.
PLEASE NOTE
This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the response time badge does not work standalone. Missive occasionally updates its page layouts and conversation presentation formats, which may temporarily affect response time data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts response time data from the visible page content; if conversation lists are loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Response time thresholds (1 hour for fast, 3 hours for slow) are configurable and provided as a reference—adjust based on your team's SLA targets. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all response time data extraction, performance analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal team management and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Missive or its parent company. Response time data is subject to Missive's terms; always review your official Missive account for authoritative inbox performance information.
