WHAT IT DOES

Mixpanel Funnel Drop-Off Highlighter scans the current page for Mixpanel funnel data, extracting funnel step names, completion counts, drop-off rates, and conversion percentages from Mixpanel funnel reports. The floating panel highlights drop-off points with visual indicators and step-by-step conversion analysis. Color-coded indicators (green for low, yellow for moderate, red for high) and a summary of conversion performance provide quick visibility. Filter by funnel and date range, and export funnel data as CSV or text. The highest drop-off steps are highlighted, and conversion trends are tracked over time.

Works on Mixpanel funnel reports, including funnel analysis pages, conversion reports, and funnel dashboards. The script detects funnel steps using Mixpanel-specific selectors and extracts drop-off metrics. It works best on Mixpanel funnel analysis pages.

HOW TO USE

The panel displays a summary of funnel steps, average conversion percentage, and highest drop-off rate, followed by a detailed list of each funnel step. Each step shows its name, user count, drop-off percentage with color coding, and conversion percentage. The highest drop-off step is highlighted with a warning badge. Click "Scan Funnel" to detect all funnel steps on the current page. Export the funnel data as text for reporting or analysis. The panel automatically highlights steps with drop-off rates exceeding the configured threshold.

MECHANISM — FUNNEL STEP EXTRACTION WITH DROP-OFF CALCULATION

The script detects Mixpanel funnel steps by finding funnel containers using selectors (.funnel-step, .funnel-row). From each container, it extracts the step name, user counts, and conversion percentages using targeted sub-selectors. Drop-off rates are calculated by comparing each step's user count to the previous step's count, or extracted directly from drop-off labels. The highest drop-off step is identified by comparing all step drop-off rates. Conversion status is evaluated against the user-configured target. The summary includes total steps, average conversion, and highest drop-off. All extraction and calculation runs client-side with no network calls.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per domain. Click the minimize button to collapse it to a small bubble, or press Escape to hide it. The panel automatically adjusts to different screen sizes and can be resized to show more content. All settings, including drop-off thresholds and conversion targets, are saved per domain. The panel integrates smoothly with any page layout using the BGPanel framework, maintaining clean separation from page content.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. It does not send any data to external servers; all extracted funnel data and settings remain entirely local to your browser using GM_setValue. The script never reads password fields, hidden inputs, or file inputs. It stores only funnel step names, user counts, drop-off rates, and conversion percentages from publicly visible Mixpanel page content. Funnel detection depends on the page structure; if steps are not detected, use the "Scan Funnel" button to refresh extraction. The script works on Mixpanel pages and detects pages by hostname. Drop-off thresholds are configurable and can be adjusted to match your benchmarks. Data persists across browser sessions and is isolated per browser profile.
