WHERE IT RUNS The script runs on all Moz web application pages at *.moz.com/*, with automatic detection of domain analysis pages and link explorer pages. It works across all Moz interfaces by using multiple selector strategies to find DA scores, PA scores, linking domains, and historical trend data. The script detects dynamic content loading and re-renders the badge when the page updates. It runs across the entire Moz domain, ensuring coverage whether you're using the Link Explorer, Domain Analysis, or any page displaying domain authority metrics. HOW TO USE Install the script via the BotGentz extension and navigate to any Moz domain analysis or link explorer page. The DA trend badge will appear in the header automatically, showing your current DA score with a color-coded trend indicator and change value. The badge displays additional metrics including Page Authority and linking domains. A historical trend chart shows DA changes over time (when data is available). Click the "Full Report" button to open the complete Moz report in a new tab. Use the panel controls to customize your experience: toggle the DA trend badge on or off, show or hide the historical trend chart, enable or disable the change value display, or show or hide the historical data summary. The "Refresh" button manually rescans the page for updated data, and the "Copy" button exports the DA summary to your clipboard. THE MECHANISM - DATA EXTRACTION, TREND CALCULATION, AND HISTORICAL VISUALIZATION This script identifies DA data by scanning the DOM for known Moz elements. It uses a cascading selector strategy that looks for Domain Authority scores (.domain-authority, .da-score, .authority-score), Page Authority scores (.page-authority, .pa-score), linking domains (.linking-domains, .ld-count), and historical data (.da-history, .historical-da, .trend-data). When historical data is not directly available, the script generates simulated historical data based on the current DA with slight variations to provide context. The trend is calculated by comparing the current DA against the previous DA (from historical data or the second-most-recent data point). The trend is categorized as "improving" (change > 0.5), "declining" (change < -0.5), or "stable" (change within ±0.5). The historical chart is rendered using the HTML5 Canvas API with an area fill and line chart. The badge is built as a DOM element with inline styles and inserted into the page header. THE PANEL The control panel appears as a floating, draggable element that you can position anywhere on the Moz page. Drag by the header to reposition it, and the position is saved per site using GM_setValue so it stays where you left it across sessions. Release the panel near any edge and it snaps into place, keeping your workspace organized. Click the panel header to collapse it into a small bubble showing only the chart emoji (📊), minimizing distraction while keeping controls accessible. Drag from the bubble to restore the full panel. The panel automatically resizes to fit its content and includes all setting toggles, action buttons, and a trend legend. Press the Escape key to quickly collapse the panel to its minimized state. The panel remains visible across page navigation within Moz, with the DA badge updating automatically as you move between domains. PLEASE NOTE This script requires the free BotGentz extension to function. It is designed for Moz users who need to monitor domain authority trends. The script reads only visible domain data from the DOM—it does not access Moz's API, your account credentials, or any sensitive information. All settings (badge visibility, chart toggle, change toggle, history toggle, and panel position) are stored locally using GM_setValue and never leave your browser. The script does not modify your Moz data—it only reads and visualizes visible information. The trend calculation is based on available historical data; if limited data is available, the trend may be less accurate. Historical data is simulated when not available on the page, providing a visual context for the current DA score. If Moz updates its website structure, the script may need to be updated to match new selectors. The "Full Report" button attempts to locate the full report link; if the link location changes, you may need to navigate manually.
