About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Proposify Web View Tracker automatically scans Proposify proposal and analytics pages to extract comprehensive proposal view data including proposal name, client name, view count, time spent viewing, page views, and view status (Viewed, Not Viewed, In Progress). The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of proposal views with color-coded engagement indicators—green for Viewed, yellow for In Progress, and gray for Not Viewed. Summary statistics show total proposals, viewed proposals, and high-engagement proposals (5+ views). Each proposal displays its name, client, view count (highlighted in yellow for 5+ views), time spent, page views, and status badge. Engagement statistics show total viewed proposals and average views per proposal. This provides a complete, organized view of your Proposify proposal engagement and helps you gauge client interest.
WHERE IT RUNS
This extension operates exclusively on proposify.com domain pages that contain proposal and analytics content—specifically pages with "/proposals", "/analytics", "/view", or "/dashboard" in the URL path, or pages that display proposal listings and engagement data. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The view tracker runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All proposal data extraction, engagement analysis, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your proposal data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.
HOW TO USE
After installing both BotGentz and this view tracker, navigate to any Proposify proposal or analytics page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying a summary with total proposals, viewed proposals, and high-engagement proposals. The "Proposals" section lists each proposal with its name, client, view count, time spent, page views, and status badge. Proposals are sorted with viewed proposals first, then by view count. The "Engagement" section shows total viewed proposals and average views per proposal. The panel provides a complete, organized view of your proposal engagement and helps you identify which proposals are getting client attention.
PROPOSAL VIEW DATA EXTRACTION AND ENGAGEMENT ANALYSIS
The view tracker uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse proposal data from Proposify pages. It first attempts to find structured proposal elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including "proposal-item," "proposal-card," "analytics-item," and "proposal-row." When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for proposal-related patterns using pattern matching for proposal names, client labels, view counts, and time indicators. Proposal names are extracted from title elements or through pattern matching. Client names are extracted through pattern matching for "client:" labels or element selectors. View counts are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "views," "viewed," or "visits" labels. Time spent is extracted through pattern matching for minute or hour values with "min" or "hr" labels. Page views are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "pages" labels. View status is determined through keyword detection for "Viewed," "Not Viewed," or "In Progress." Proposals are sorted with viewed proposals first, then by view count. Engagement statistics are calculated from the extracted proposal data. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.
THE PANEL
The view tracker panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Proposify analytics page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you track proposal engagement. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and view tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.
PLEASE NOTE
This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the view tracker does not work standalone. Proposify occasionally updates its page layouts and analytics presentation formats, which may temporarily affect proposal data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts proposal data from the visible page content; if analytics information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. View counts and engagement metrics are based on extracted data and are provided as a reference—always verify your actual proposal analytics on the official Proposify platform. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all proposal data extraction, engagement analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal proposal tracking and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Proposify or its parent company. Proposal view data is subject to Proposify's terms; always review your official Proposify account for authoritative analytics information.
