The tool displays a floating overlay panel that summarizes key deal terms in a clear, easy-to-read format with labeled sections. Key metrics including valuation cap, discount rate, and funding progress are highlighted with color-coded indicators—green for strong progress, yellow for moderate, red for slower. Investor perks are listed with checkmarks for quick reference. A funding progress bar shows the percentage of the target raise achieved. The panel provides a complete, organized view of all offering terms for informed investment decisions.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension operates exclusively on republic.com domain pages that contain deal and offering content—specifically pages with "/deal/", "/offer/", or "/invest" in the URL path, or pages that display offering terms and investment details. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The deal terms overlay runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All deal term extraction, progress analysis, and preference storage occurs on your machine, ensuring your investment research and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.

HOW TO USE

After installing both BotGentz and this deal terms overlay, navigate to any Republic deal page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying the deal summary. The "Deal Summary" section shows the company name and deal type. The "Key Terms" section displays minimum investment, valuation cap, discount rate, target raise, current raised, valuation, investor count, and deadline in a clean two-column format. The "Funding Progress" section shows a visual progress bar with percentage raised. The "Perks" section lists investor perks when available. The panel provides a complete summary of all key deal terms for quick evaluation.

DEAL TERM EXTRACTION AND PROGRESS ANALYSIS

The deal terms overlay uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse offering terms from Republic pages. It first attempts to find structured term elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including deal name, offering type, and financial metrics. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for term-related patterns using pattern matching for labels like "minimum investment," "valuation cap," "discount rate," "target raise," "raised," "deadline," and "investors." The tool extracts deal type through keyword detection for "Equity," "Revenue Share," "Convertible Note," or "Crowdfunding." Perks are extracted through pattern matching for "Perks:" or "Rewards:" labels. The funding progress is calculated as (current raised / target raise) × 100 when both values are available, and displayed as a color-coded progress bar. All extracted data is presented in a clean, organized panel for quick reference.

THE PANEL

The deal terms overlay panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Republic deal page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you evaluate investment opportunities. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and deal tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the deal terms overlay does not work standalone. Republic occasionally updates its page layouts and deal presentation formats, which may temporarily affect data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts deal terms from the visible page content; if offering data is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. The funding progress bar and all metrics are based on extracted data and are provided for informational purposes—always verify all terms on the official Republic offering page before making investment decisions.
