WHAT IT DOES

Run Helium Hotspot Node enables you to register and configure Helium hotspot nodes on the blockchain. This tool takes hotspot configuration data (location, antenna details, elevation) and a reward wallet address, then registers the hotspot on the Helium network via a blockchain contract. The tool provides clear output showing the hotspot ID, location, antenna details, reward wallet, and transaction hash.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet using the BGWallet connector (required for context). Enter the Helium network contract address. Enter a hotspot identifier. Enter the location (city, country). Enter antenna details (e.g., "8dBi Omni"). Optionally, enter the elevation in meters. Enter the reward wallet address that will receive Helium tokens for coverage. Click "Register Hotspot" to register the hotspot on the Helium network. The tool displays the hotspot ID, location, antenna details, reward wallet, and transaction hash. You can copy the hotspot ID or view the transaction on the blockchain explorer. The result includes a detailed breakdown showing the registration details and status.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

This tool implements Helium hotspot registration by sending a transaction to a Helium network contract. The registration process: (1) the hotspot configuration data is validated; (2) a transaction is sent to the contract with the configuration data and reward wallet; (3) the contract stores the hotspot record with the signer's address and timestamp; (4) the transaction hash serves as the proof of registration. The tool cannot guarantee that the hotspot record is complete or truthful; it only stores the record. It does not support batch registration of multiple hotspots; each hotspot must be registered separately.
