HOW TO USE

After installing through the BotGentz extension, navigate to your SEO tool's keyword tracking dashboard or perform a search on Google or Bing. The script automatically scans the page and applies rank change badges to keywords that have historical data. Use the configuration panel to customize your experience: toggle rank change badges on or off, enable or disable color-coding, control historical tracking, and configure position highlights for top 3, top 10, or top 100. The panel displays real-time statistics showing total keywords, positions tracked, and upward/downward movement counts. Use the "Scan Keywords" button to manually trigger a fresh scan, or "Clear History" to reset all stored rank data.

The engine maintains distinct extraction strategies for each supported platform, using platform-specific CSS selectors to locate keywords, positions, search volumes, and difficulty scores. For Semrush and Ahrefs, it targets table rows with specific data attributes; for Moz and Serpstat, it parses result cards and list items; for Google and Bing, it extracts organic search results from standard result containers. After extraction, the engine stores historical position data locally using GM_setValue with a keyed structure that preserves per-keyword history. Each keyword's history includes position, timestamp, and URL, enabling accurate delta calculations. The highlight system uses position-based classification to apply visual emphasis to top rankings, helping identify high-performance keywords at a glance.

THE PANEL

The configuration panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per-site using GM_setValue. It snaps to screen edges when dragged near them, collapses to a compact bubble when minimized, and supports Escape key for quick collapse. All settings—including badge visibility, color-coding, historical tracking, position highlights, and auto-refresh interval—are persisted across sessions.
