WHAT IT DOES

Squarespace Commerce Analytics Overlay scans the current page for Squarespace Commerce analytics data, extracting sales figures, order counts, revenue trends, product performance, and customer metrics from Squarespace analytics dashboards. The floating panel shows key metrics with trend indicators, revenue breakdowns, and product performance charts. A summary shows total sales, average order value, and top-performing products. Filter by date range and product category, and export analytics data as CSV or text. Sales trends and anomalies are highlighted, and key performance indicators are tracked over time.

Works on Squarespace Commerce analytics pages, including sales dashboards, product performance views, and customer analytics sections. The script detects analytics data using Squarespace-specific selectors and extracts key metrics. It works best on Squarespace Commerce analytics pages.

HOW TO USE

The panel displays four key metrics: Total Sales, Orders, Average Order Value (AOV), and Conversion Rate. Click "Scan Analytics" to extract all analytics data from the current page. The top products list shows the best-performing products with their sales figures. Export the analytics data as text for reporting or analysis. The panel automatically detects and displays available metrics from the page.

MECHANISM — ANALYTICS EXTRACTION WITH METRIC CLASSIFICATION

The script detects Squarespace analytics metrics by scanning the page for numeric patterns and labels. Sales figures are identified by currency symbols and number patterns, order counts by "orders" or "sales" keywords, and AOV by the "AOV" label. Conversion rate is extracted from percentage patterns in the page text. Product performance is extracted from product containers using selectors (.product-performance, .top-product). Each product's name and sales figure are parsed and sorted by sales value. The summary metrics are displayed in a grid layout with color-coded values. All extraction runs client-side with no network calls.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per domain. Click the minimize button to collapse it to a small bubble, or press Escape to hide it. The panel automatically adjusts to different screen sizes and can be resized to show more content. All settings, including export preferences, are saved per domain. The panel integrates smoothly with any page layout using the BGPanel framework, maintaining clean separation from page content.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. It does not send any data to external servers; all extracted analytics data and settings remain entirely local to your browser using GM_setValue. The script never reads password fields, hidden inputs, or file inputs. It stores only sales figures, order counts, product names, and other analytics data from publicly visible Squarespace page content. Analytics detection depends on the page structure; if metrics are not detected, use the "Scan Analytics" button to refresh extraction. The script works on Squarespace Commerce pages and detects pages by hostname. Data persists across browser sessions and is isolated per browser profile.
