About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Universal Bulk 2FA Status Checker Across Accounts solves a common security awareness challenge: knowing which of your online accounts have Two-Factor Authentication enabled is critical for security hygiene, but checking each account manually is tedious. Many sites display 2FA status differently, making it hard to quickly assess your security posture. This tool reads the current page (account settings, security page, or profile), detects elements indicating 2FA status such as "2FA enabled", "Two-factor authentication", "Security key", "Authenticator app", or "SMS verification", and displays a summary of 2FA status for the current account. You can check multiple account pages sequentially, and the tool builds a report showing which accounts have 2FA enabled, which have it available but not enabled, and which don't support it. The tool also detects which 2FA methods are configured (authenticator app, SMS, security key, email verification) and shows a confidence score for each detection.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension panel runs directly inside your browser as an overlay on any web page. It works on account settings pages, security dashboards, profile pages, and any page that may display 2FA status information. The tool scans the page's text content and DOM structure for 2FA-related keywords and elements. It requires no additional permissions beyond the BotGentz extension.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension and activating Universal Bulk 2FA Status Checker Across Accounts, navigate to any account security page or settings page. Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the panel. Click "Check Current Page" to scan the page for 2FA status. The tool searches for keywords like "2FA", "Two-factor", "Authenticator", "SMS verification", and "Security key" to determine whether 2FA is enabled or disabled. Results are displayed with color-coded status indicators: green for enabled, red for disabled, and gray for unknown. The report shows which 2FA methods are detected (e.g., authenticator app, SMS, security key) and includes a confidence score for the detection. Repeat this process across your various accounts to build a comprehensive report. Click "Export Report" to copy a detailed report of all checked accounts and their 2FA statuses to your clipboard.

TECHNICAL OPERATION — Keyword-Based 2FA Status Detection

This tool operates through DOM text analysis and keyword matching to detect 2FA status. It scans the page's text content and element structure for keywords associated with 2FA enabled and disabled states. The detection engine uses two keyword sets: "enabled" keywords (e.g., "2fa enabled", "two-factor authentication is on", "authenticator app configured", "security key added") and "disabled" keywords (e.g., "2fa disabled", "turn on 2fa", "enable two-factor", "not using 2fa"). The tool counts matches from each category, compares the counts to determine the likely status, and calculates a confidence score based on the number of matches. It also scans for method-specific keywords to identify which 2FA methods are configured (authenticator app, SMS, security key, email verification). The tool preserves the detection context by storing the raw text matches and element references that contributed to the result. This approach works across any site regardless of its specific UI structure, as long as the page contains text describing 2FA status.

THE PANEL

The extension panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per site session. It snaps to the nearest edge of the browser viewport when dragged within 50 pixels of any side. You can collapse the panel to a compact title bar using the minimize button, preserving your selection state. The panel resizes vertically by dragging the bottom edge. Press the Escape key to close the panel instantly. The results update in real-time after each scan, and the report accumulates across multiple pages.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension to function. The script does not access, read, or store any passwords, credentials, or sensitive account data — it only scans visible page text for 2FA-related keywords. Detection is based on text analysis and may not be 100% accurate for all sites; the confidence score helps indicate reliability. Some sites may display 2FA status in non-standard ways that the keyword set does not cover; in these cases, the status will show as "unknown." The tool is a security awareness aid and does not perform actual 2FA validation or authentication. Sites may update their UI or wording over time, which could affect detection; we monitor and release keyword updates as needed.
