WHAT IT DOES

Webex Bulk Meeting Export lets you export multiple meeting records in a single operation. Instead of manually copying meeting details one by one, or using Webex's built-in export that may export all data without selection — this tool provides a unified checklist of all meetings on the current page. You can see each meeting with its title, date, time, meeting ID, and status. Select any number of meetings using checkboxes, choose your export format (CSV or JSON), and click Export. The tool then extracts the selected meeting data and generates a clean, structured export file. This turns what could be a tedious copy-paste operation into a single batch action, making meeting reporting, analysis, and record keeping significantly faster and more precise.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs exclusively on the Webex web application in your browser. It activates on the meeting list page, calendar view, and scheduled meetings views within the Webex interface. It requires the BotGentz extension to inject and execute the script. The tool does not work on the Webex mobile app, the API, or any third-party Webex clients — only the web-based Webex interface accessed through a Chromium-based or Firefox browser. It specifically targets pages under *.webex.com, including the Webex meetings and calendar views.

HOW TO USE

After installing the script via BotGentz, navigate to your Webex web portal and open the Meetings or Calendar page. The tool automatically detects the meeting list and displays a floating panel on the right side. The panel shows all meetings on the current page, with checkboxes next to each meeting entry. Each meeting displays its title, date, time, meeting ID, and status badge. Use the search box to filter by title or meeting ID to narrow down your selection. Check the boxes for every meeting you want to export. Below the meeting list, toggle between CSV and JSON format. Click "Export Selected" and the tool will extract the selected meeting data and generate the export file for download. A status message appears when the export completes, showing how many meetings were exported.

THE ACTUAL MECHANISM — WHY IT WORKS

Webex's web interface is built with React and uses a component-based rendering system for its meeting management. The meeting list is rendered as table rows or cards, each containing meeting metadata and metrics. This tool scans the DOM for meeting items using multiple selector patterns that Webex consistently uses across versions. For each meeting, it extracts the title, date, time, meeting ID, and status from the visible text content and data attributes. Each meeting is assigned a unique identifier from data attributes or checkbox values. When exporting, the tool generates CSV with meeting metrics as headers and each selected meeting as a row, or JSON with each meeting as a structured object. The CSV generation properly escapes quotes and handles numeric values. This approach works without making direct API calls, which would require authentication credentials and knowledge of Webex's internal API structure. By reading the rendered DOM, the tool captures exactly what you see on the page, ensuring the exported data matches the displayed metrics.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable — click and drag the header to reposition it anywhere on the page. The panel's position is saved per site in localStorage, so it reappears exactly where you left it when you return to the meetings page. Double-click the header to snap the panel to the nearest edge (left or right). A collapse button minimizes the panel to a small tab showing a video emoji badge, keeping it out of the way while still accessible. The meeting list inside the panel is scrollable and resizes vertically based on the number of meetings. Pressing Escape while the panel is focused closes it completely; reopening is done via a small button injected near the page toolbar. All panel interactions are non-blocking — Webex's main UI remains fully responsive while the panel is open, and the panel updates automatically when you navigate between pages.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the BotGentz extension (free) to run user scripts on Webex. Webex frequently updates its web interface and metric display structures; if the tool stops working, check for an updated version within BotGentz's script repository. This tool does not store, transmit, or log any meeting data, scheduling information, or user details — all operations occur locally in your browser with no external network requests except those made by Webex itself. Exported data is generated entirely from the visible page content. For pages with a large number of meetings, the tool may take a moment to generate the export file — a status message indicates when the export is complete. Always verify the exported data matches your expectations, as some metrics may have different formatting in the page display. The tool only affects meetings visible on the current page; to export all meetings, use Webex's built-in pagination controls or adjust your view to show all relevant meetings. The CSV export uses comma-separated values with quoted fields, compatible with all major spreadsheet applications. The JSON export produces well-formatted, readable JSON suitable for data analysis and integration with other tools.
