About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The AI Executive Briefing Note Drafter helps executives, advisors, and strategy teams prepare clear, decision‑ready briefing notes for leadership audiences. You provide the topic details, key messages, audience, and any specific context or constraints, and the agent returns a structured briefing note with five essential sections: Executive Summary (a concise, high‑impact overview of the issue and recommended path), Situation/Background (the context, history, and drivers behind the need for a decision), Key Analysis or Findings (data, insights, and critical observations relevant to the decision), Options/Recommendations (a clear, reasoned proposal with alternatives and rationale), and Next Steps/Ask (a specific, actionable request from the executive audience). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the briefing focuses on the five most critical points for decision-making—ensuring leaders can quickly grasp the essence and act with confidence. This is ideal for executive assistants, strategy consultants, chief of staff roles, and business advisors who need to prepare high‑quality briefings for boards, CEOs, or senior leadership teams.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your briefing topic, key messages, audience, and context into the input box. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Draft briefing” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a structured briefing note with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from reports, meeting notes, or strategic documents without manual retyping. The agent handles any briefing type, from investment proposals to strategic pivots to operational reviews.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Draft briefing” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your briefing data.

SUBSCRIPTION

$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual briefing topics before committing.

THE PANEL

Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.

PLEASE NOTE

AI may miss strategic nuance or misrepresent stakeholder perspectives. Always validate briefing notes against organisational data, strategic priorities, and executive preferences. This tool provides general information and drafting assistance only—it does not constitute professional executive, business, or strategic advice. Users must independently verify all analysis, recommendations, and next steps with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts. The agent is an assistant, not a substitute for qualified executive advisors or strategy professionals.
