About this app
WHAT IT DOES
AI IT Hardware Refresh Cycle Explainer is a specialized AI agent that transforms IT hardware refresh cycle details, equipment lifecycle data, and budget information into clear, actionable plain‑English explanations. When you provide IT hardware refresh cycle details, equipment lifecycle data, or budget information, the agent extracts and explains the key rules, timelines, and employee entitlements. It returns exactly three focused sections: "Refresh Cycle Timelines & Schedules" ranking the five most important timelines by priority, "Equipment Eligibility & Upgrade Criteria" ranking the five most critical eligibility criteria by importance, and "Budgeting & Approval Requirements" ranking the five most important budget or approval requirements by sequence. The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, ensuring concise, readable guidance. This is general information only and does not constitute professional IT or financial advice—always consult a qualified professional for your specific hardware refresh situation.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf. Paste your IT hardware refresh cycle details, equipment lifecycle data, or budget information into the input box. You can also select text directly from the page and click "Use Page Selection" to populate the input automatically. Click "Explain Hardware Refresh" or press Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to submit. The agent processes your input through the AI connector and displays a structured explanation with refresh timelines, eligibility criteria, and budget requirements. The panel is designed for quick review—no account creation is required beyond your BotSurf subscription. The agent retains no memory of past conversations; each explanation is independent.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you enter into the input box (or the text you select from the page) to the AI model. No additional metadata, page content, cookies, or browser history is transmitted. The text is truncated to a maximum of 6,000 characters before sending; longer inputs are clipped and marked as truncated. Usage logs record the count of runs for billing purposes only—they do not store, log, or retain the content of your submissions or the model's responses. The agent runs entirely in your browser; the AI connector handles the request securely. No data is shared with third parties.
SUBSCRIPTION
This agent is available for $19.99 per month with a 7‑day free trial. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—one run per hardware refresh explanation. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The free trial starts automatically when you first use the agent; no upfront payment is required until the trial ends.
THE PANEL
The overlay panel is fully draggable via its title bar and remembers its position using BGAI.setState. It snaps to the nearest edge when dragged within 40px of any screen boundary. The panel collapses to a minimal header when not in use and expands on hover or click. Pressing Escape temporarily dismisses the panel until you navigate to a new page or manually reactivate via the BotSurf toolbar. The panel includes a text input area, toolbar buttons (Explain Hardware Refresh, Use Page Selection, Clear), and a results area that displays the structured explanation.
PLEASE NOTE
AI can be wrong. Always verify critical information with your hardware refresh documentation and consult with IT or financial professionals before making decisions. This tool provides general information only and does not constitute professional IT or financial advice. The agent is not a substitute for professional IT asset management, financial planning, or procurement consulting. IT hardware refresh cycle timelines, eligibility criteria, and budget requirements vary by organization, industry, and equipment types—the agent's explanation is based on the details provided and general best practices. Run counts are deducted from your monthly allowance regardless of output quality; ensure your input is complete and accurate before submitting.
