AI Paint Colour Advisor helps you choose the perfect paint colour for any room. Provide the room type, lighting conditions, mood preference, and existing decor, and the agent returns a structured recommendation with three sections: Top Recommendation (the best colour choice for your space), Alternatives (2-3 other options to consider), and Practical Advice (finish suggestions, sample testing tips, and application advice). The recommendations are tailored to your specific conditions, helping you create a room that feels just right.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the room type, lighting conditions, mood preference, and a brief description of your existing decor. Press "Advise Colour" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted recommendation with all three sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as colour swatches, design magazines, or notes—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your details to get more personalised advice.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the advise button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your room data or the generated recommendations. Your design preferences are not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.
SUBSCRIPTION
The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for getting colour advice for multiple rooms, comparing different palettes, or supporting ongoing home improvement projects. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.
THE PANEL
The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
