AI Plant Care Advisor helps you keep your plants healthy with tailored care guides based on your specific plant and environment. Provide a plant name or type and your environment details, and the agent returns a structured care guide with five sections: Light (ideal light conditions), Water (watering frequency and method), Soil (preferred soil type and pH), Temperature (optimal temperature range), and Tips (additional advice for healthy growth). The guidance is clear, practical, and designed for both beginner and experienced gardeners. Whether you're growing a Monstera indoors, a succulent on a sunny windowsill, or a fern in a humid bathroom, this advisor provides the information you need.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the plant name or type and any relevant environment details. Press "Get Care Guide" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted care guide with all five sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as plant labels, gardening books, or notes—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your details to get more accurate advice.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the get care guide button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your plant data or the generated guide. Your plant information is not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.
SUBSCRIPTION
The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for getting care guides for multiple plants, refining advice for different environments, or supporting ongoing gardening efforts. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.
THE PANEL
The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
