AI Service Transition Checklist Builder
About this app
WHAT IT DOES
The AI Service Transition Checklist Builder helps service managers, project leads, and operations teams plan and execute smooth service transitions with a structured, actionable checklist. You provide service transition details—service name, current state, target state, key activities, risks, and any specific concerns—and the agent returns a structured checklist with five essential sections: Transition Overview (a summary of the service, its scope, and the change being made), Pre-Transition Preparation (readiness tasks such as stakeholder alignment, environment setup, and training), Transition Activities (the step-by-step tasks to execute the move), Post-Transition Validation (verification steps to confirm the service is operating as expected), and Risk/Issue Tracking (a log of identified risks and issues to monitor during and after the transition). The output is capped at 1,024 tokens, so the checklist focuses on the five most critical transition tasks—ensuring teams can prioritise the highest-impact actions and reduce transition failures. This is ideal for service transition managers, ITIL practitioners, operations teams, and program managers responsible for moving services into production or changing service delivery models.
HOW TO USE
Open the agent in BotSurf (botsurf.ai). Paste your key once (the host handles key management). Then paste your service transition details into the input box—service name, current state, target state, activities, risks, and concerns. You can use free‑form text, bullet points, or structured notes. Press “Build checklist” or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on Mac) to generate. Within seconds, you receive a structured checklist with clear sections. You can also click “Use page selection” to pull highlighted text from any open page—making it easy to capture details from project plans, transition briefs, or stakeholder notes without manual retyping. The agent handles any service transition, from IT system migrations to process outsourcing to organisational change.
WHAT IT SENDS
The agent sends exactly the text you place in the input box—nothing more. It does not transmit any metadata, browsing history, cookies, attached files, or system information. Transmission occurs only when you press the “Build checklist” button or the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record the timestamp, user ID, and run count for billing purposes, but they do not store or transmit the substantive content of your input or the agent’s output. The agent does not retain your data after generating a response; every run is stateless. This section is required and precise—there is no hidden data collection, no background scanning, no external sharing, and no persistent storage of your transition data.
SUBSCRIPTION
$19.99/month with a 7‑day free trial (no charge during trial). Includes 100 runs per month; unused runs do not roll over. You may cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings—no penalties, no questions asked. After cancellation, access ends at the current billing period’s close. The free trial is a great way to test the agent with your actual transition plans before committing.
THE PANEL
Drag the panel by its header to reposition it anywhere on screen. Snap to left, right, or bottom edges for side‑by‑side work with other tools. Collapse to a minimal bar when not in use (click the “−” button or press Escape). Press Escape again to expand. Close the panel with the “✕” button; your input and output remain until you clear them. Panel position and collapse state persist across sessions when the host supports state storage.
PLEASE NOTE
AI may miss transition-specific dependencies or regulatory requirements. Always validate transition checklists against organisational policies, stakeholder agreements, and operational constraints. This tool provides general information and planning support only—it does not constitute professional service management, project management, or legal advice. Users must independently verify all tasks, risks, and validation steps with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts. The agent is an assistant, not a substitute for qualified service transition or project management professionals.
