AI Text Message Tone Softener helps you reframe text messages to sound kinder, calmer, and more constructive—especially in sensitive conversations. Provide a text message, your relationship with the recipient, and your desired tone, and the agent returns a structured response with three sections: Original (your original message), Adjusted (the rephrased, softened version), and Tone Notes (a brief explanation of the changes made). The output is tailored to your relationship—whether partner, friend, colleague, or family—and can be adjusted to tones like calm, kind, empathetic, or constructive. This tool helps you communicate more effectively and reduce misunderstandings.

HOW TO USE

Open the agent in BotSurf and paste your BotGentz API key once (the host stores it securely). In the input box, enter the text message you want to soften, your relationship to the recipient, and your desired tone. Press "Soften Tone" or use Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter) to run. The agent returns a formatted response with all three sections. You can also click "Use page selection" to pull selected text from the surrounding page—such as drafts, notes, or conversations—directly into the input field. Regenerate as many times as you like within your monthly limit, refining your details to get messages that better suit your situation.

WHAT IT SENDS

The agent sends exactly the text you type into the input box—nothing else. It does not send browser history, cookies, page context, analytics, or any hidden metadata. The request fires only when you explicitly click the soften button or press the keyboard shortcut. Usage logs record only that a request occurred and the timestamp, for billing and quota tracking; they never log the content of your message data or the generated version. Your personal messages are not stored, shared, or used for model training. The bridge transmits a form-encoded POST payload, and the response returns directly to your panel.

SUBSCRIPTION

The agent costs $19.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial and no upfront charge. Each subscription includes 100 runs per month—sufficient for softening multiple messages, refining tones for different relationships, or supporting ongoing communication needs. Unused runs do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from your BotSurf account settings. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before the seventh day. No long-term contracts, no hidden fees.

THE PANEL

The agent runs as a movable, resizable panel inside BotSurf. Drag the panel by its header to position it anywhere on screen; it snaps to the nearest edge for a tidy workspace. Click the collapse button or press the Escape key to minimize it to a small floating bubble, keeping it accessible without blocking your view. The panel remembers its position and collapsed state across sessions using the host's state API. The header shows only the title text, while the collapsed bubble displays the emoji icon for quick visual identification.
