Airdrop Snapshot Reminder Tool

WHAT IT DOES

Airdrop Snapshot Reminder Tool scans the current page for airdrop snapshot dates and times, and displays a countdown timer for each snapshot. It detects snapshot dates from text, data attributes, or embedded timestamps, and shows the remaining time in days, hours, and minutes. When a snapshot is approaching—at 24 hours, 6 hours, 1 hour, 30 minutes, or 10 minutes—the tool alerts you with clear status indicators: ⚠️ Soon, ⏳ Upcoming, or ✅ Later. It sends browser notifications when snapshots are near and includes a reminder to take required actions (e.g., hold tokens, stake, vote) before the snapshot. If the page doesn't show a snapshot date, you can manually set one.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool runs as a userscript inside the BotGentz extension on any website. It connects directly to your real EVM wallet via window.ethereum—no intermediate bridge. It works on any page with airdrop snapshot information.

HOW TO USE

Install the script and navigate to any page with airdrop snapshot details. Click "Connect Wallet" to link your EVM wallet. The tool will automatically scan the page for snapshot dates and display them in the panel with countdown timers and action reminders. Use the "Refresh Snapshots" button to re-scan the page. If no snapshot is detected, enter a date or time manually (e.g., "Dec 25, 2024" or "in 2 days") and click "Add." Enable notifications in the settings to receive browser alerts when snapshots are near. Copy snapshots to your clipboard with the "Copy Snapshots" button.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool scans the DOM for text containing snapshot-related keywords (snapshot, record date, holding date, eligibility date, cutoff, deadline, expires, ends) and extracts date information using a robust date parser that handles multiple formats: ISO dates, relative times (in 2 days, 3 hours), US date formats (MM/DD/YYYY), and written dates (December 25, 2024). It also checks data attributes like data-snapshot, data-date, and data-expiry. Each detected snapshot is displayed with a live countdown timer that updates every second. The tool also provides contextual action reminders based on the time remaining, prompting users to take necessary steps before the snapshot. It uses GM_notification to send browser alerts when the remaining time falls below the user-defined lead time (default 60 minutes). The panel integrates wallet connection via window.ethereum for EVM compatibility.

THE PANEL

The panel can be dragged anywhere on screen, snapped to the edge, resized, collapsed, and closed with Escape. It remembers its position per site and stays out of your way until you need it.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension and a real EVM wallet extension (e.g., MetaMask) installed in your browser. It is EVM-only and works on Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base, and other EVM-compatible chains. It cannot detect snapshots that are not visible on the page or encoded in images. Manual snapshots must be entered by the user. Sites change frequently; the script may need updating. No data is collected or stored beyond your own browser settings.
