WHAT IT DOES
The Amazon Prime Region Unlocker VPN is a region-switching tool that changes which regional Amazon Prime Video catalog you see. It does not route traffic — BotSurf handles that. Instead, this app reads your current browsing region, shows you what that region offers, and lets you switch to another region with a single tap. It is designed to be used as a lightweight panel over Amazon Prime Video, giving you a clear view of what changes when your apparent location changes.
WHAT THE REGION CHANGES
Switching regions with this app changes three things:
- Catalog — the available movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals. A region like the United States has a different selection than the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, or Brazil. This app shows a preview of top picks and trending titles for each region.
- Pricing currency — monthly subscription fees and rental or purchase prices are displayed in the local currency. For example, USD in the United States, GBP in the United Kingdom, EUR in Germany, JPY in Japan, and BRL in Brazil.
- Language and metadata — regional titles may appear with local language descriptions, subtitles, or dubbing options. The app also shows the expected locale and timezone for each region.
The app does not change your Amazon account settings. It changes how Amazon's servers interpret your location, which in turn changes what content is presented to you.
HOW TO USE
1. Open the app over Amazon Prime Video in your browser.
2. The app will show your current region and a preview of what that region offers.
3. Tap "Change" to cycle through available regions. The app will update its display and prompt BotSurf to switch the VPN exit region.
4. When the region changes, you may need to reload Amazon Prime Video to see the new catalog. The app will remind you to do so.
5. The consistency check helps you understand if your browser signals (timezone, language, currency formatting) match your claimed region.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
This app cannot bypass Amazon's account-based regional locks or subscription restrictions. If your Amazon account is tied to a specific region, some content may still be unavailable regardless of your apparent location. It does not change the region of existing watchlists, downloaded content, or your Amazon account settings. It cannot guarantee access to every title in every region due to Amazon's complex licensing agreements and content rotation. It does not improve streaming speed, reduce latency, or make you anonymous — it only changes your apparent location for Amazon Prime Video. Overstating these limitations would put you at risk of wasted time and frustration. We are clear about what this tool does and does not do.
