You can choose between professional, friendly, or empathetic tones, review the draft in the panel, edit it as needed, and copy it for use in your app store response form.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool operates as a panel within the BotGentz browser extension, available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave. It works on any webpage displaying app store reviews, user ratings, feedback comments, or similar review content. Common sources include Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and other app review platforms.

HOW TO USE

Navigate to any page that displays an app store review, user rating, or feedback comment. Open the BotGentz extension and select App Store Response Drafter from the tool menu. The panel will appear on the side of your browser. Enter your full name and email address in the provided fields (these are stored locally for future use). Select your preferred tone (professional, friendly, or empathetic) from the dropdown menu. Optionally, enter any custom instructions. Click the "Draft Response" button to analyze the current page content. The tool extracts the relevant review content and sends it along with your tone preference to the AI for processing. Within moments, you will receive a professional, appropriate response in the panel. Review the draft, make any edits directly in the panel, and click the copy button to save it to your clipboard for use in your app store response form.

TECHNICAL SECTION — APP STORE REVIEW AND SENTIMENT EXTRACTION

This tool uses a specialized pipeline trained on app store review and response communication patterns. First, it performs a hierarchical DOM traversal that prioritizes content blocks containing review indicators such as "review," "rating," "star," "comment," "feedback," "app," "user," "concern," "issue," "feature," and "experience." Second, it extracts candidate passages using a context-aware sliding window that captures both the review data and surrounding structural markers (star ratings, user names, review dates, app names). Third, a trained classifier assigns each passage a probability score for being part of an app store review context using features like review language frequency ("review," "rating," "star," "app," "user"), sentiment markers, and issue indicators. Fourth, the system applies semantic clustering to group related content into three core categories: the rating, the review content, and any specific concerns or questions. Finally, the structured clusters, combined with the user's provided information (name, email, tone, and custom instructions), are passed to the AI model with a constrained prompt that instructs it to generate a professional, appropriate response with standardized sections (thanks, addressing concerns, helpful information, and polite closing), reducing hallucination and ensuring a professional, contextually appropriate draft.

THE PANEL

The side panel is designed for seamless integration into your browsing workflow. You can drag it to either side of the window, and it remembers your preferred position per website. It supports snap-to-edge behavior and can be collapsed to a small tab for minimal distraction. The panel is resizable horizontally and vertically, with a minimum width of 280px and maximum of 600px. Pressing the Escape key closes the panel. All settings are saved locally.

AI-generated review responses are for assistance only and should be reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before posting, as interpretations may occasionally miss review nuances or misread sentiment. Websites change their review page formats frequently, and extraction scripts may need periodic updates; we strive to keep the pattern library current. This tool does not store or transmit page content except for the extracted text sent to the AI API; your personal information (name, email) is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the AI as part of the draft generation. No browsing history or personal data is collected or retained. Subscription billing is monthly and can be canceled at any time.
