About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Arbitrum Nova Fee Comparator is your intelligent decision assistant for choosing between Arbitrum One and Nova networks. It automatically detects transaction interfaces on bridge pages and dApps, then fetches real-time fee structures from both networks simultaneously. The tool compares gas costs, data availability fees (L1 calldata for One vs. AnyTrust for Nova), and calculates the total transaction cost on each network. It displays a clear side-by-side comparison with percentage difference and a strong recommendation on which network is cheaper. With one click, you can execute your transaction on the recommended network, with the script handling network switching and transaction submission automatically.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on all official Arbitrum interfaces, including arbitrum.io, nova.arbitrum.io, bridge.arbitrum.io, and any dApp that integrates with Arbitrum networks. It works on Arbitrum bridge pages, token transfer interfaces, and any transaction submission form where you need to choose between One and Nova. The tool automatically detects the transaction interface regardless of how it's structured and adapts its fee comparison to the specific contract interactions present on the page.

HOW TO USE

Install the script through the BotGentz userscript manager. Navigate to any Arbitrum bridge or dApp page. Click "Connect Wallet" to link your EVM wallet extension—the tool supports MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and any Web3-compatible wallet. The panel will automatically detect the transaction interface and fetch fee data from both networks. Review the side-by-side comparison showing gas prices, data availability fees, and total costs. The panel highlights which network is cheaper and by what percentage. When ready, click "Execute on One," "Execute on Nova," or "Execute Recommended" to initiate your transaction. The script handles network switching, transaction signing, and confirmation monitoring automatically.

LIVE DUAL-NETWORK FEE AGGREGATION & COMPARISON ENGINE

Unlike simple calculators that estimate based on static assumptions, this tool performs live RPC queries through window.ethereum to fetch current gas prices from both Arbitrum One and Nova simultaneously. It uses the eth_gasPrice method to read real-time conditions on each network, then applies a sophisticated cost model that accounts for the fundamental fee structure differences: Arbitrum One uses L1 calldata for data availability, which costs approximately 35% of the base gas price, while Nova uses AnyTrust with significantly lower data availability fees (approximately 5% of base gas). The engine also factors in L1 gas price fluctuations that affect both networks differently. When ethers.js is available, the tool further refines estimates using contract ABI inspection and on-chain fee data, providing the most accurate fee comparison available.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and snap-to-edge enabled. You can collapse it to a compact bubble when not in use, resize it to your preferred dimensions, and it remembers its position across page loads using persistent storage. Press Escape to quickly dismiss the panel. The panel automatically updates every 30 seconds with fresh fee data from both networks, ensuring you always have current comparison information before committing to a transaction.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed in your browser—it does not run as a standalone extension. You also need a real EVM wallet extension already installed and configured. The tool works exclusively with Arbitrum One and Nova networks through official Arbitrum interfaces and compatible dApps. Fee structures may change with network upgrades or L1 gas volatility; the tool provides estimates but cannot guarantee exact final costs. Network switching may require wallet approval and added transaction fees. No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted—all wallet interactions stay local in your browser. Transaction success depends on network conditions, gas availability, and contract state; the tool provides comparison and execution assistance but cannot guarantee transaction completion if network congestion or contract issues occur.
