About this app

WHAT IT DOES

AT&T Web Data Rollover Tracker reads data usage and rollover data balance from your AT&T account and displays a floating data rollover tracker showing your current data usage, rollover data available, and total data remaining. The badge shows your data used, rollover balance, and total remaining data with color coding—blue for normal usage, green for rollover, and gold for remaining data. A progress bar shows your overall data usage percentage. The extension tracks data usage history per month, storing each usage record with a timestamp. When data usage exceeds 80%, a desktop notification is triggered. The panel displays your current month's usage history and changes over time.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all AT&T pages at att.com and its subdomains, specifically on account pages where data usage and rollover balances are displayed. It runs on the main account page, the data usage page, the plan details page, and any page displaying data information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access AT&T's servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to att.com and log in to your account. The extension automatically creates a floating data rollover tracker badge on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows your data usage, rollover balance, and remaining data. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest data information. The "Show rollover details" toggle controls whether rollover details appear. The "High usage notifications" toggle controls desktop notifications when usage exceeds 80%. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

DATA EXTRACTION WITH ROLLOVER PARSING AND MONTHLY HISTORY TRACKING

Unlike simple data display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find data usage, rollover balances, and plan details from AT&T's varying page structures. It searches for usage display using multiple selector patterns (.data-usage, .usage-display, .data-used) and falls back to text parsing. The data parser handles multiple units (GB, MB, TB) and normalizes all values to GB for consistent display. Rollover data is extracted from rollover selectors. The total remaining data is calculated as plan total plus rollover minus used. Monthly usage history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year-month strings and values are arrays of usage records with timestamps, limited to 20 entries per month. High usage notifications trigger when usage exceeds 80%, with a once-per-day cooldown.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on att.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, rollover details visibility, notification preference, and monthly usage history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. AT&T's website changes periodically, and data element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting usage data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, rollover details preference, notification preference, and monthly usage history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Usage history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year-month strings and values are arrays of usage records. The data usage displayed is read from the page—the extension does not access AT&T's internal data. Always verify with AT&T directly for the most accurate data usage information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for att.com.
