About this app

WHAT IT DOES

AVS Slashing Condition Acknowledgment Tool enables operators to acknowledge slashing conditions for Actively Validated Services (AVS) on EigenLayer and similar restaking protocols. The tool reads your connected wallet address, AVS contract address, slashing condition status, acknowledgment status, operator status, slashing history, current block timestamp, acknowledgment deadline, and stake amount. It displays the acknowledgment status, slashing condition status, operator status, slashing history, deadline, and stake amount before you act. You can acknowledge the slashing conditions to become an operator or revoke acknowledgment at any time.

HOW TO USE

Connect your wallet and select your network. Enter the AVS contract address and optionally the operator address (defaults to your wallet). Click "Check acknowledgment status" to load your current acknowledgment status, slashing condition status, operator status, slashing history, deadline, and stake amount. Review all details carefully—the tool will show you whether you have acknowledged the conditions and whether the deadline has passed. If you have not acknowledged and the deadline is open, click "Acknowledge slashing conditions" to accept the terms. To revoke acknowledgment, click "Revoke acknowledgment." The tool handles both transactions.

THE REAL MECHANISM — SLASHING CONDITION ACKNOWLEDGMENT WITH DEADLINE AND HISTORY TRACKING

Unlike simple terms of service agreements, AVS slashing condition acknowledgment is an on-chain commitment with significant financial implications. The getAcknowledgmentStatus function returns the operator's acknowledgment status, whether slashing conditions are active, the acknowledgment deadline, and the operator's stake amount. The getOperatorStatus function returns the operator's active status and a status string. The getSlashingHistory function returns an array of timestamps and reasons for past slashing events. The acknowledgeSlashingConditions function records the operator's acknowledgment on-chain, while revokeAcknowledgment removes it. The tool reads all acknowledgment data via these functions and validates that conditions are active and the deadline has not passed before enabling the acknowledge button. All arithmetic uses ethers.js BigNumber with the token's decimal precision, and gas costs are reported using receipt.effectiveGasPrice.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

Cannot verify off-chain operator behavior—the tool has no visibility into whether the operator will behave honestly. It cannot ensure slashing condition fairness—the tool cannot verify that the slashing conditions are reasonable or fair. It cannot predict slashing events—the tool cannot forecast whether the operator will be slashed. It cannot detect if the AVS contract contains vulnerabilities—the tool does not audit the contract logic. It cannot recover slashed funds if the operator is penalized.

PLEASE NOTE — EVM CHAINS ONLY

This tool exclusively supports EVM-compatible chains where ethers.js can connect via standard JSON-RPC. It does not support non-EVM chains such as Solana, Tron, Starknet, SUI, TON, Aptos, Bitcoin, Cosmos, or XRP. The AVS contract must implement the specific interface expected by this tool (getAcknowledgmentStatus, getOperatorStatus, getSlashingHistory, acknowledgeSlashingConditions, revokeAcknowledgment). Acknowledging slashing conditions is a legally and financially significant action—understand the risks before proceeding. This tool is an acknowledgment interface, not a legal advisor or financial consultant.
