Batch Auction Bid Submission Tool is a non-custodial tool that submits bids in batch auctions where multiple bids are collected and cleared at a uniform clearing price. It reads batch auction contract state, user address, token balances, auction parameters, auction ID, bid amount, bid price, clearing price, order type, bid deadline, auction status, user's bid history, minimum bid, maximum bid, collateral approval status, clearing method, and settlement state to structure the optimal bid submission operation. With a single transaction, it calls submitBid(), executeBatchBid(), or placeBatchAuctionBid() on the target contract, submitting a bid with the specified amount and price. The tool supports various clearing methods including uniform clearing, pro-rata, and discriminatory auctions.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet (EVM-compatible).

2. Paste the batch auction contract address.

3. Enter the auction ID, bid amount, and bid price.

4. Optionally specify a collateral token address (leave empty for native currency).

5. Review the auction status, bid deadline, clearing method, and settlement state.

6. Click "submit bid" and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

The tool automatically handles collateral approvals if using an ERC-20 token. After the transaction confirms, your bid is submitted on-chain—no centralized custody, no intermediaries. The auction will be cleared at the uniform clearing price, and your bid will be included in the batch.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM: MULTI-FUNCTION FALLBACK WITH AUTO-APPROVAL

Unlike simple transaction builders that assume a single function signature, this tool implements a multi-function fallback strategy. It first attempts submitBid(), then falls back to executeBatchBid() or placeBatchAuctionBid() if the primary method fails—automatically adapting to different contract implementations without requiring the user to know the exact function name. For all on-chain reads, it uses chunked block range scanning that halves on failure, preventing the common "eth_getLogs limit exceeded" error that halts most scanners on public RPCs. It double-verifies approval status by checking the current allowance from storage, rather than relying on historical Approval events—because an event log proves an approval happened, not that it still stands. Gas estimation uses receipt.effectiveGasPrice for accurate post-EIP-1559 cost accounting, and all batched operations are sequential with concurrency caps to avoid nonce conflicts. The tool also validates that the bid amount and price are within acceptable ranges and that the auction is still open before execution.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the batch auction contract is legitimate or has not been compromised. It cannot detect if the auction has been manipulated. It cannot ensure that bid will execute at the optimal price due to market conditions. It cannot guarantee that bid will succeed if the auction contract is paused or frozen. It cannot verify that the contract has not been upgraded or modified. It cannot detect if the trade path is optimal or not front-run. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs or insufficient approval. It cannot verify that the bid price is valid or not. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying asset has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying bid parameters. It cannot ensure that the clearing price will be favorable. It cannot protect against loss if bid is placed at unfavorable price. It cannot verify that the auction is still open. It cannot guarantee that the bid will be included in the batch. It cannot ensure that the clearing will be processed correctly. It cannot verify that the collateral will be returned correctly.
