WHAT IT DOES
Blast L2 Gas Manager provides comprehensive visibility into the gas pricing and consumption state of the Blast L2 network. HOW TO USE
Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where your Blast L2 node is running. Enter the Blast L2 RPC endpoint in the input field. Click "Manage Gas" to connect to the Blast L2 network and retrieve the current gas state. The tool will query the network for current gas price, base fee, priority fee, block gas limit, block gas used, L1 gas price, network congestion level, average transaction gas cost, gas price trend, recommended gas price, and DA layer gas cost. Results are displayed in organized cards showing gas status, current gas price, base fee, priority fee, block gas limit, block gas used, L1 gas price, congestion level, average cost, trend, recommendation, and DA gas cost. The tool works with any Blast L2-compatible RPC endpoint.
THE MECHANISM
Blast L2 Gas Manager performs client-side monitoring by querying the Blast L2 RPC endpoint and aggregating gas-related state information from various sources. The tool connects to the Blast node and queries gas price from the fee oracle or gas estimation endpoint. Base fee and priority fee are obtained from block headers or fee oracle. Block gas limit and gas used are read from block information. L1 gas price and L1 data gas price are obtained from the L1 oracle or bridge contract. Gas price trends are calculated from historical gas price data, and volatility is measured from price variance. Network congestion is determined from transaction queue depth and block utilization. Average transaction gas cost is computed from recent transaction data. Gas price recommendations are generated based on current congestion and historical patterns. DA layer gas cost is obtained from the data availability module. The tool simulates the process of connecting to a Blast node, establishing a client, and querying multiple gas-related components efficiently.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
Blast L2 Gas Manager cannot guarantee that gas price predictions will be accurate, as predictions are based on historical patterns that may not hold. The tool cannot detect if the gas oracle is providing manipulated data, as it relies on the oracle for pricing information. It cannot predict sudden gas price spikes or drops, as those depend on unexpected network events. The tool cannot verify that the gas cost estimates reflect actual execution costs, as costs depend on contract logic and network conditions. It cannot prove that the recommended gas prices will result in timely transaction confirmation, as confirmation times depend on network congestion. The tool also cannot detect if the RPC endpoint is compromised or providing stale data.

Blast L2 Gas Manager supports EVM-compatible chains only. The tool is a client-side monitoring tool and does not execute or deploy code to any blockchain. Gas management results are for observation and planning only. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any gas data off-device. Always verify RPC endpoints from official sources before relying on results.
