About this app

WHAT IT DOES

This tool reads page content or selected text from any webpage—research notes, article outlines, reference material, or topic ideas—and uses AI to draft a complete blog post. It extracts the relevant content, analyzes it against your writing preferences, and returns a structured blog post draft with a compelling introduction, 3-5 key sections with subheadings, and a strong conclusion. You can set writing preferences like tone (professional, casual, friendly, authoritative), style (informative, persuasive, storytelling), target audience, and word count target. The draft appears in the panel where you can review and edit it before publishing. This tool helps writers, bloggers, content creators, and marketers quickly turn research and notes into polished blog post drafts.

WHERE IT RUNS

The script runs on every website and web application you visit. It works with any page containing written content—articles, research papers, notes, outlines, reference material, and more. It works regardless of framework—React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or plain HTML—and extracts content from the page as rendered in the browser.

HOW TO USE

Upon installation, a floating panel appears with the tool interface. First, set your writing preferences in the panel (tone, style, audience, word count). Click "Save Preferences" to store your settings. Then navigate to any page with research notes or topic content, select text or let the tool detect content, and click "Draft Blog Post." The tool extracts the content, sends it to the AI with your preferences, and returns a structured blog post draft. The panel shows the source content preview and the generated draft. Click "Copy Draft" to copy the blog post to your clipboard, or "Copy Source" to copy the original content. Review and edit the draft before publishing.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM: INTELLIGENT CONTENT EXTRACTION WITH AI BLOG DRAFTING

This tool uses a multi-layer approach to extract content for blog drafting. It first checks for user-selected text, then looks for common content containers (article, post, content, entry, blog-post), then scans headings and paragraphs. The extracted text is cleaned and formatted for the AI. The tool attempts WebMCP (navigator.modelContext) first if available—a W3C proposal for structured tool calls—falling back to the AI backend via GM_xmlhttpRequest. The AI is prompted to return a structured blog post with introduction, sections, and conclusion matching the user's tone, style, audience, and word count preferences. The draft is returned as plain text with no preamble, ready for review.

THE PANEL

The panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per website using GM_setValue. It automatically snaps to the nearest screen edge when released for a clean workspace. Click the collapse button to minimize it to a small floating bubble that takes minimal space. Click the bubble to expand the panel back. The panel can be resized by dragging any edge or corner. Press the Escape key to close the panel temporarily, and click the extension icon to reopen it.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension and an active AI subscription. Each blog post draft counts against your monthly AI usage cap. AI-generated drafts should be reviewed before use—the AI may occasionally suggest inaccurate information or inappropriate tone. All preference data is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted except for AI requests. This tool is designed for writing assistance and is not an autonomous agent that acts without review.
