About this app

WHAT IT DOES

The Bounty Payout Tool enables DAOs and organizations to execute batch bounty payouts to multiple bounty hunters in a single transaction. Bounties are a common mechanism for incentivizing community contributions, bug reporting, feature development, and other tasks. This tool provides a streamlined interface to pay out bounties with configurable amounts, hunter addresses, and verification status handling.

The tool reads bounty contract state, bounty parameters, bounty hunter addresses, token balances, bounty amounts, verification status, approval status, and bounty history. It supports executing payouts to multiple bounty hunters in a single batch transaction, with automatic handling of token approvals and transfer execution. The tool also checks verification status before allowing payouts.

HOW TO USE

1. Connect your wallet using the Connect button. The tool automatically detects your connected address and network.

2. Select the network where your bounty contract is deployed. The tool checks the BotGentz sender contract registry for the current chain.

3. Enter the bounty contract address, the bounty ID, and the payment token address.

4. Enter the bounty hunter addresses (comma-separated) and the corresponding payout amounts (comma-separated, matching order).

5. Configure your slippage tolerance percentage for the payout transaction.

6. Click "Load bounty" to verify the bounty exists and is approved.

7. Review the payout details in the preview panel including contract, bounty ID, payment token, hunters, and amounts.

8. Click "Payout Bounty" to submit the payout transaction through your wallet.

9. The tool will handle token approvals (if required) and execute all transfers in a batch transaction.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses the BotGentz shared sender contract to execute batch transfers for bounty payouts. First, it reads the bounty state to verify the bounty exists, is approved, and that the caller is authorized to execute payouts. The tool validates that the total payout amount does not exceed the remaining bounty balance. It then checks the bounty treasury's balance of the payment token and approves the sender contract for the exact total amount. The tool executes all transfers in a single batch transaction, sending the specified amounts to each hunter address. The bounty contract's state is updated to reflect the payouts, recording the paid amounts and updating the remaining balance.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

This tool cannot verify that the price feed is accurate or reliable; it relies on the bounty contract's internal state. It cannot detect if the oracle has been compromised or manipulated. It cannot ensure that bounty payout will execute at the optimal price due to slippage, market volatility, and block timing. It cannot guarantee that payout will succeed if the bounty treasury balance is insufficient. It cannot verify that the bounty submission has actually been verified or completed. It cannot verify that the bounty hunter is legitimate or not. It cannot detect if the payout path is optimal or if the transaction is being front-run by malicious actors. It cannot recover funds if execution fails due to contract bugs, insufficient approvals, out-of-gas errors, or blockchain reorgs. It cannot predict market movements, price gaps, or flash crashes that may affect payout value. It cannot guarantee execution during extreme network congestion, high gas prices, or volatile market conditions. It cannot detect if the underlying bounty protocol has been compromised. It cannot prevent the user from canceling or modifying payout parameters through other interfaces. It cannot ensure that bounty submissions are approved by the required parties. It cannot guarantee that bounty verification is accurate or complete.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool is designed for EVM-compatible blockchains supported by the BotGentz sender contract (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BSC, Avalanche, Fantom, and others). It requires an active wallet connection and sufficient native currency for gas fees. Always verify the bounty contract address, bounty ID, hunter addresses, and amounts before executing. The tool is provided as-is with no warranty; users assume full responsibility for their transactions and should exercise caution when executing bounty payouts. For mainnet usage, ensure the bounty contract has been audited and you understand the risks of bounty payouts including insufficient funds, gas costs, and smart contract risks.
