WHAT IT DOES
Change Netflix streaming location is a region app that lets you browse Netflix as if you were in another country. It changes the perceived geographic region for Netflix, affecting which libraries of movies, TV shows, and original content are available to browse and stream. WHAT THE REGION CHANGES
When you switch your Netflix region, you immediately see a different content catalog. Each country has its own licensing agreements with studios, meaning a title available in the United States may not be available in the United Kingdom, and vice versa. The app shows you which region you're currently browsing as, lets you switch to a different country, and updates Netflix's content recommendations and trending lists to match that location. It also affects the language of interface elements and subtitles, as Netflix surfaces content with local language preferences. The region change can also affect pricing display for subscription plans, as prices are shown in local currency.
HOW TO USE
Open the region app from the BotSurf store. It can be used as a panel overlay on top of Netflix (while you're already browsing) or as a standalone full-frame app. The app displays your current browsing region with a flag and region label in the header. To change your Netflix streaming location, either click the "Change" button in the header or search for a specific region in the search box below. Select your desired region from the search results. BotSurf will prompt you to reload the page to apply the new region. After reloading, Netflix will show you the content library of your selected region. The app also includes a consistency check that compares your browser's time zone, language, and currency settings with your claimed region, helping you understand which signals are mismatched—this is useful for troubleshooting if Netflix doesn't seem to reflect the change.
