WHAT IT DOES

Chase Web Points Transfer Value Calculator reads your Chase Ultimate Rewards points balance from your account page and displays a floating points transfer value calculator showing the estimated value of your points across transfer partners. The badge shows your points balance, the best transfer value in dollars, and the transfer partner that provides the best value. A points-per-cent calculation shows the value of each point in cents. The extension tracks points history per month, storing each balance change with a timestamp. When you reach milestones of 50,000, 100,000, 150,000, 200,000, 250,000, or 500,000 points, a desktop notification is triggered. The panel displays your current month's points history and changes over time.

WHERE IT RUNS

This extension works on all Chase pages at chase.com and its subdomains, specifically on account pages where Ultimate Rewards points balance is displayed. It runs on the main account page, the Ultimate Rewards dashboard, the credit card page, and any page displaying points information. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access Chase's servers directly—it reads only what is visible on the page you are viewing. It works alongside the free BotGentz extension, which provides the necessary scripting environment.

HOW TO USE

Install the extension, then navigate to chase.com and log in to your account. The extension automatically creates a floating points transfer value calculator badge on the page. Click the extension's icon in your browser toolbar to open the settings panel. Use the "Show Overlay" / "Hide Overlay" button to toggle the badge visibility. The badge shows your points balance, best transfer value, and the best partner. Use the "Refresh" button to manually update the badge with the latest points information. The "Preferred transfer partners" setting lets you specify which partners to prioritize (default: Hyatt, United, Southwest). The "Milestone notifications" toggle controls desktop notifications for points milestones. Adjust the overlay transparency using the opacity dropdown (70%, 82%, 92%, or 100%). Drag the badge by clicking and holding anywhere inside it. Resize it by dragging the bottom-right corner. Close the badge with the × button.

POINTS EXTRACTION WITH TRANSFER VALUE CALCULATION AND PREFERRED PARTNER FILTERING

Unlike simple balance display tools, this extension uses a multi-selector extraction engine to find points balance from Chase's varying page structures. It searches for points balance using multiple selector patterns (.points-balance, .reward-points, .ultimate-rewards) and falls back to text parsing with number extraction. The transfer value calculator uses a built-in database of Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partners with estimated values in cents per point (e.g., Hyatt at 1.7¢, Virgin Atlantic at 1.6¢, Aer Lingus at 1.5¢). Users can specify preferred partners to prioritize, and the calculator finds the best value among those partners. Monthly points history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year-month strings and values are arrays of points records with timestamps, limited to 20 entries per month. Milestone notifications trigger at common thresholds with a once-per-day cooldown per milestone.

THE PANEL

The panel supports drag-to-move anywhere on the page. It remembers its position per site, so it stays where you placed it on chase.com. Click the panel header to collapse it down to just the minimized bubble, or click the expand handle to show the full panel. The panel can be resized by dragging the bottom-right corner. Press the Escape key to close the expanded panel and return to the minimized state. All panel settings, including position, size, collapsed state, opacity, preferred partners, notification preference, and monthly points history, are saved per site and persist across browsing sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed and active, as it provides the underlying DOM injection and script execution environment. Chase's website changes periodically, and points element structures, class names, and page layouts may be updated. When that happens, the extension may stop detecting points data until an update is released. The extension stores your overlay position, size, opacity, visibility, preferred partners, notification preference, and monthly points history locally in your browser's storage using GM_setValue. Points history is stored as a key-value object where keys are year-month strings and values are arrays of points records. The points balance displayed is read from the page—the extension does not access Chase's internal points data. Transfer partner values are estimates and may not reflect current redemption rates. Always verify with Chase directly for the most accurate Ultimate Rewards information. No data is ever sent to any server, and no personal information is collected. You can clear all stored settings at any time by clearing your browser data for chase.com.
