About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Circle.so Web Space Activity Badge automatically scans Circle.so community space and activity pages to extract comprehensive activity data including post count, comment count, reaction count, member count, active members count, engagement level (High, Medium, Low, Inactive), and recent posts. The tool displays a floating overlay panel showing a summary of space activity with color-coded engagement indicators—green for High, yellow for Medium, orange for Low, and gray for Inactive. Each activity statistic is displayed with a color-coded value. Recent posts are listed for quick reference, and an activity level bar provides a visual indicator of community engagement. This provides a complete, organized view of community activity and helps you gauge the health and engagement of any Circle.so space.
WHERE IT RUNS
This extension operates exclusively on circle.so domain pages that contain community space and activity content—specifically pages with "/c/", "/space", "/community", or "/feed" in the URL path, or pages that display community activity and post listings. It works alongside the free BotGentz companion extension, which provides the necessary DOM access and page interaction capabilities. The space activity badge runs entirely within your local browser instance and does not communicate with any external servers or APIs. All activity data extraction, engagement analysis, and preference storage are processed and stored on your machine, ensuring your community data and tracking preferences remain private. It supports all modern Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera) and Firefox when paired with the BotGentz bridge.
HOW TO USE
After installing both BotGentz and this activity badge, navigate to any Circle.so community space or activity page. Within 1-2 seconds, a panel appears in the bottom-right corner displaying the space name and engagement level with color-coded indicator. The "Activity" section shows post count, comment count, reaction count, member count, and active members with color-coded values. The "Recent Posts" section lists recent activity. The "Activity Level" section shows a visual bar indicating engagement level. The panel provides a complete, organized view of community activity and engagement.
ACTIVITY DATA EXTRACTION AND ENGAGEMENT ANALYSIS
The space activity badge uses a multi-strategy extraction system to locate and parse activity data from Circle.so pages. It first attempts to find structured activity elements using selectors based on the site's typical class naming patterns, including space activity containers, post items, and feed elements. When these selectors fail due to site updates, the tool falls back to text-based parsing, scanning the page for activity-related patterns using pattern matching for post counts, comment counts, reaction counts, and member counts. Post counts are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "posts" or "topics" labels. Comment counts are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "comments" or "replies" labels. Reaction counts are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "reactions" or "likes" labels. Member counts are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "members," "people," or "users" labels. Active members are extracted through pattern matching for numeric values with "active members" labels. Engagement level is calculated using a weighted formula: posts × 2 + comments × 1 + reactions × 0.5. Scores above 100 map to High, 30-100 to Medium, 1-30 to Low, and 0 to Inactive. Recent posts are extracted from post containers or through pattern matching. All data is presented in a clean, organized panel with color-coded indicators.
THE PANEL
The space activity badge panel is a compact, functional overlay that integrates into the Circle.so community page. It can be dragged by clicking and holding the title bar, positioning the panel anywhere on the screen for optimal visibility while you monitor community activity. The panel includes a built-in snap feature that automatically aligns to the nearest screen edge when released within 48 pixels, keeping your workspace organized. Click the collapse arrow in the top-right corner to minimize the panel to a small icon bubble showing a gear emoji, preserving screen space while keeping the tool accessible. The panel is not resizable in this version, maintaining a consistent compact size that works on all screen resolutions. Press the Escape key to instantly hide the panel; press Escape again to restore it. All position, collapse state, and activity tracking preferences are saved locally using GM_setValue and persist across browsing sessions.
PLEASE NOTE
This extension requires the free BotGentz extension to function—the space activity badge does not work standalone. Circle.so occasionally updates its page layouts and community presentation formats, which may temporarily affect activity data extraction accuracy. The tool extracts activity data from the visible page content; if activity information is loaded dynamically after page load, you may need to wait a moment or refresh the page for the panel to populate. Engagement level classification is based on a weighted formula and is provided as a reference—actual community engagement may vary. The tool does not store or transmit any data; all activity data extraction, engagement analysis, and settings are processed and saved entirely within your browser. This tool is designed for personal community monitoring and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Circle.so or its parent company. Community activity data is subject to Circle.so's terms; always review your official Circle.so account for authoritative community information.
