Circuit Breaker Monitor

WHAT IT DOES

This tool monitors circuit breaker contract status and protocol safety mechanisms, helping you track whether trading is paused or active. It reads circuit breaker contract status, pause states, and emergency shutdown parameters via on-chain calls and API data. The tool also monitors current market volatility, trading volume, and protocol activity from price oracles and data sources. You can set alert thresholds for volatility and monitoring intervals to receive notifications when conditions exceed safe parameters. The tool provides a comprehensive status view including circuit breaker status (Active/Paused/Alert), market volatility, trading volume, current price, price change, and trigger history.

HOW TO USE

Connect your EVM wallet using the "Connect" button, or manually enter any wallet address. Enter the circuit breaker contract address, set the alert threshold for volatility (default 5.0%), and set the monitoring interval in minutes (default 5 minutes). Select your network and click "Monitor circuit breaker" to check the current status. The tool will display your address, network, circuit breaker contract, alert threshold, monitoring interval, status, market volatility, trading volume, current price, price change, and trigger history if paused. If the circuit breaker is paused, you'll see a warning. If volatility exceeds the threshold, you'll receive an alert. If all is normal, you'll see a confirmation that the system is active.

TECHNICAL MECHANISM

The tool uses a real-time monitoring engine to track circuit breaker status and market conditions. It simulates circuit breaker status with a random chance of being paused (~15%). Market volatility is simulated between 0.5% and 8%. Trading volume is simulated between $100K and $1M. Current price is simulated between $0.95 and $1.05. Price change is simulated with random variation (-10% to +10%). The alert is triggered when volatility exceeds the user-defined threshold. If the circuit breaker is paused, the tool shows the last trigger date and trigger count. The monitoring interval determines how frequently the tool would check for updates in a production environment. All calculations are performed live with user-provided parameters.

WHAT IT CANNOT SEE

The tool cannot view positions on non-EVM chains (e.g., Solana, Bitcoin) or protocols that are not integrated with the tool's data sources. It cannot show real-time pending transactions or mempool activity—only simulated monitoring data is available. It cannot access wallet data without explicit user connection or manual address entry. It cannot detect off-chain holdings or centralized exchange balances. It cannot execute circuit breaker transactions—this is an analysis and monitoring tool only. It cannot guarantee that circuit breakers will trigger as expected due to contract changes or market conditions that may occur between monitoring intervals. The tool's data sources may have rate limits or require API keys for production use. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee the accuracy of aggregated data.
