WHAT IT DOES

Clothing Size Converter helps you find the right size across international sizing standards. Convert between US, UK, EU, and International sizes for tops, bottoms, and dresses. Select your gender (Men, Women, or Unisex) and the clothing category, then enter any size to see the equivalent in other standards. A size chart shows the complete conversion table for the selected gender and category, highlighting the from and to units. The tool supports size labels (XS, S, M, L, XL) and numeric sizes.

WHERE IT RUNS

The extension runs entirely within your browser's local environment using the BotGentz framework. All clothing size conversion, chart rendering, and formatting occur on your machine without any network requests. No clothing size data, conversion results, or user activity is ever transmitted, uploaded, or stored externally. The tool works on any website and respects the browser's security boundaries, operating within the isolated extension sandbox. Clothing size conversion uses standard sizing tables.

HOW TO USE

Click the extension toolbar icon to open the Clothing Size Converter panel. Select the gender (Men, Women, or Unisex) from the dropdown—the available categories update automatically. Select the clothing category (Tops, Bottoms, or Dresses). Enter a clothing size in the input field. Select the "From" unit (US, UK, EU, or International) and the "To" unit. The conversion result appears instantly if auto-convert is enabled. Click "Convert" to manually trigger a conversion. Click "Copy Result" to copy the conversion result to your clipboard. Toggle "Auto convert" to enable or disable real-time conversion. Toggle "Show size chart" to display a complete size comparison table for the selected gender and category. The chart highlights the from and to units for easy reference.

THE CLOTHING SIZE CONVERSION ENGINE — WHY IT WORKS

Most clothing size converters use simplified formulas that fail to account for the complex relationships between sizing systems. This tool uses comprehensive sizing tables based on international standards for men, women, and unisex clothing. Each gender has separate categories (tops, bottoms, dresses) with their own size mappings. The engine first validates the input size against the from-unit sizes for the selected gender and category, then returns the corresponding size from the to-unit's size array. The size labels are matched case-insensitively, and numeric sizes are matched with tolerance. This table-based approach ensures accuracy because clothing sizes vary significantly by gender, category, and sizing system. The size chart renders the full table for the selected gender and category, showing all four sizing systems in a clear grid format.

THE PANEL

The Clothing Size Converter panel is fully draggable by its title bar and remembers its position on screen per website. It snaps to the edges of your browser window for clean alignment. Collapse the panel to a compact icon strip using the minimize button, restoring it with a single click. Resize the panel by dragging any edge or corner; the input area, unit selectors, result display, and size chart adjust proportionally. Press the Escape key to close the panel instantly. The panel maintains independent state for each browser tab, allowing you to convert clothing sizes in multiple tabs simultaneously.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension framework to be installed and enabled. The tool provides approximate conversions based on standard sizing tables; actual sizes may vary by brand, manufacturer, and region. The Unisex category has limited options compared to Men and Women. The size chart displays all sizes for the selected category; scroll to see the complete table. The auto-convert feature triggers on every input event; disabling it can improve performance. All conversion data is processed locally and is never transmitted, logged, or shared. The extension requests no network permissions and functions entirely offline. The source code is fully auditable and available for review.
