About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Clutch Agency Review Count Badge scans the current page for Clutch.co agency listings and extracts key data including agency names, total review counts, average ratings, location, industry focus, employee count, and category-specific ratings (quality, cost, timeliness, and more). A floating badge appears in the corner showing the agency name, review count, and rating at a glance. The detailed panel provides a full breakdown with review volume indicators, category ratings, and a recency assessment. Compare multiple agencies on the same page and copy insights for research or sharing.
WHERE IT RUNS
Works on any web page, including Clutch.co agency listings, search results, and company profile pages. The script intelligently detects agency cards, provider listings, and review metadata using multiple extraction strategies. It works best on Clutch.co but can also detect agency information on other review platforms and business directories.
HOW TO USE
The badge appears automatically in the corner of your screen showing the first agency's review count and rating. Click the badge to open the detailed panel with full agency insights. View review count, average rating, location, employee count, industry focus, and category-specific ratings. The panel also shows a review volume indicator (Minimal/Low/Medium/High) to help assess agency activity. Copy agency insights to your clipboard with one click, or compare multiple agencies if several are detected on the page. Customize the badge position and review volume thresholds in the settings section.
MECHANISM — MULTI-STRATEGY AGENCY DETECTION WITH CATEGORY RATING EXTRACTION
The script uses a layered detection strategy to extract agency data. It first attempts to find agency containers using Clutch-specific CSS selectors (.provider-card, .agency-card, .company-card). From each container, it extracts name, review count, average rating, location, industry, and employee count using targeted sub-selectors. Category ratings (quality, cost, timeliness, etc.) are extracted from nested elements using .category-rating, .metric, or .rating-item selectors. If container-based detection fails, the script falls back to text pattern matching, scanning page content for review counts, rating patterns, and agency name patterns. This multi-layer approach ensures robust extraction across varying page layouts.
THE PANEL
The floating panel is fully draggable and remembers its position per domain. Click the minimize button to collapse it to a small bubble, or press Escape to hide it. The panel automatically adjusts to different screen sizes and can be resized to show more content. All settings, including badge position and review volume thresholds, are saved per domain. The panel integrates smoothly with any page layout using the BGPanel framework, maintaining clean separation from page content.
PLEASE NOTE
This script requires the free BotGentz extension to run. It does not send any data to external servers; all extracted agency data and settings remain entirely local to your browser using GM_setValue. The script never reads password fields, hidden inputs, or file inputs. It stores only agency data from publicly visible page content and your configuration settings. Agency detection depends on the page structure; if agencies are not detected, use the "Rescan Page" button to refresh extraction. Data persists across browser sessions and is isolated per browser profile.
