About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Coin Flipper provides a realistic virtual coin flipping experience for quick decisions, games, and fun. Flip a coin with animated spinning that shows heads or tails. Flip single coins or multiple coins at once (5 or 10 flips). The tool tracks statistics showing the percentage of each side, and maintains a history of all flips with timestamps. You can customize the coin sides to anything you like—replace "Heads" and "Tails" with custom text like "Yes/No", "Go/Stop", or any two options. Copy results to your clipboard with one click.

WHERE IT RUNS

The extension runs entirely within your browser's local environment using the BotGentz framework. All coin flipping, statistical tracking, and history management occur on your machine without any network requests. No coin data, flip history, or user activity is ever transmitted, uploaded, or stored externally. The tool works on any website and respects the browser's security boundaries, operating within the isolated extension sandbox. Coin flipping uses the browser's built-in Math.random() function.

HOW TO USE

Click the extension toolbar icon to open the Coin Flipper panel. Click "Flip" to flip a single coin with animation—the result appears on the coin display and in the output area. Click "Flip 5" or "Flip 10" to flip multiple coins at once, showing all results and a count of each side. The statistics panel shows the total number of flips and the percentage for each side. The history panel shows recent flips with timestamps; click "Copy" on any history entry to reuse it. Click "Copy" to copy the current result to your clipboard. Use "Clear History" to remove all history entries. Use "Reset Stats" to reset the statistics. To customize coin sides, enter custom text in the "Side 1" and "Side 2" fields and click "Apply Custom Sides". Toggle "Flip animation" to enable or disable the spinning animation. Toggle "Enable history" to track your flips.

THE COIN FLIP ENGINE — WHY IT WORKS

Most coin flippers simply display a random result without any visual feedback or tracking. This tool provides a complete coin flipping experience with animation, statistics, and history. The animation engine simulates a realistic coin flip by rapidly cycling through random results before settling on the final outcome. The number of flips in the animation is randomized (6-10) with increasing delays between each flip, creating a realistic deceleration effect. The statistics tracking aggregates results and calculates percentages for each side. The custom sides feature allows any two strings to be used, making the tool versatile for any binary decision. The history stores each flip with a timestamp, and the multiple flip feature rolls several coins at once and displays the distribution. This approach provides a comprehensive, engaging coin flipping experience.

THE PANEL

The Coin Flipper panel is fully draggable by its title bar and remembers its position on screen per website. It snaps to the edges of your browser window for clean alignment. Collapse the panel to a compact icon strip using the minimize button, restoring it with a single click. Resize the panel by dragging any edge or corner; the coin display, controls, and history panel adjust proportionally. Press the Escape key to close the panel instantly. The panel maintains independent state for each browser tab, allowing you to flip coins in multiple tabs simultaneously.

PLEASE NOTE

This extension requires the free BotGentz extension framework to be installed and enabled. The tool uses Math.random() which is suitable for casual use but not cryptographically secure. Custom sides are stored locally and persist across sessions. The history is stored in memory and cleared when the page is refreshed. The animation feature can be disabled for faster flips. All coin data is processed locally and is never transmitted, logged, or shared. The extension requests no network permissions and functions entirely offline. The source code is fully auditable and available for review.
