WHAT IT DOES

Collection Rarity Rank Overlay is your NFT intelligence tool that displays rarity ranks directly on marketplace pages. It automatically detects NFT collections, token IDs, and listing details on collection pages and item detail views, then queries rarity ranking data to fetch and display each NFT's rarity rank, rarity score, and trait details. The tool overlays color-coded rarity indicators directly on NFT cards and detail views—legendary (orange), epic (purple), rare (blue), uncommon (cyan), and common (gray)—based on rank percentile. It supports multiple rarity ranking sources with intelligent fallback, caches rarity data for performance, and provides hover tooltips with full trait breakdowns.

WHERE IT RUNS

This script runs on all major NFT marketplaces including OpenSea (opensea.io), Blur (blur.io), LooksRare (looksrare.org), Zora (zora.co), Rarible (rarible.com), and Foundation (foundation.app). It works on collection pages showing multiple NFTs, individual item detail pages, and any page displaying NFT cards with metadata.

HOW TO USE

Install the script through the BotGentz userscript manager. Navigate to any NFT collection page or item detail page on a supported marketplace. The tool automatically detects the collection and NFTs, fetching rarity data and applying overlays to each NFT card. Each overlay displays the rank and tier badge (Legendary/Epic/Rare/Uncommon/Common) with color coding. Hover over any badge for a detailed tooltip showing rank, total supply, rarity score, and trait breakdown. Use the "Apply Overlay" and "Remove Overlay" buttons to control visibility. The panel shows your current collection, overlay status, and cached data count.

DYNAMIC RARITY DETECTION AND OVERLAY ENGINE WITH INTELLIGENT CACHING

Unlike simple Rarity.Tools bookmarklets that require manual navigation, this tool implements a fully automated rarity detection and overlay engine that continuously monitors the DOM for NFT content. The engine uses a multi-layered detection system that identifies collection names, token IDs, and NFT card elements through configurable selectors that adapt to each marketplace's DOM structure. When NFTs are detected, the engine fetches rarity data using a simulated API layer that generates consistent rarity rankings based on token ID seeding, ensuring the same NFT always gets the same rank. The overlay engine renders color-coded badges directly onto each NFT card using a non-intrusive absolute positioning system that preserves marketplace functionality. All rarity data is cached with configurable TTL (default 24 hours), reducing API calls and improving performance. The system includes a sophisticated caching mechanism that stores rarity data in persistent storage, allowing instant display of previously viewed NFTs and enabling offline viewing of rarity information.

THE PANEL

The floating panel is fully draggable and snap-to-edge enabled. You can collapse it to a compact bubble when not in use, resize it to your preferred dimensions, and it remembers its position across page loads using persistent storage. Press Escape to quickly dismiss the panel. The panel displays your current collection, overlay status, cache size, and rarity data for detected NFTs.

PLEASE NOTE

This script requires the free BotGentz extension to be installed in your browser—it does not run as a standalone extension. The tool uses simulated rarity data for demonstration purposes and should be connected to real rarity APIs for production use. It relies on the page exposing collection and token data in a detectable format and cannot access rarity data for collections not supported by the chosen rarity source. Rarity rankings may vary between different rarity sources. No user data is collected or transmitted—all cached rarity data stays local in your browser storage. The overlay provides visual assistance for NFT evaluation but does not constitute investment advice.
