About this app

WHAT IT DOES

Cookie Consent Auto Reject detects cookie consent banners on the current page and automatically clicks the "reject" or "decline" button when found, with support for multiple common banner patterns and fallback detection, and logs which sites have been processed. The tool helps you maintain your privacy by automatically rejecting non-essential cookies without requiring manual interaction with every cookie banner you encounter.

WHERE IT RUNS

This tool works on any webpage that displays cookie consent banners, including news sites, e-commerce platforms, blogs, and web applications. It detects banners using a combination of selector-based detection and text matching. It runs on all websites as designated in its match patterns.

HOW TO USE

After installing the BotGentz extension, the tool automatically attempts to reject cookie consent banners when you visit a page (configurable in settings). Configure your settings in the panel: toggle auto-reject on page load, show notifications when cookies are rejected, log processed sites to avoid repeated attempts, and add custom selectors for reject buttons on sites with unusual banner structures. The panel displays the current status and whether the current site has been processed. Use "Reject Now" to manually trigger the rejection, and "Clear Processed Log" to reset the list of processed sites.

TECHNICAL SECTION — MULTI-PATTERN BANNER DETECTION ENGINE

The tool uses a comprehensive detection engine that combines CSS selectors, text matching, and fallback strategies. It first applies a list of common selectors targeting reject buttons (aria-label, class names, IDs, and data attributes). If no match is found, it scans all buttons on the page for text patterns like "reject," "decline," "deny," "opt out," "no thanks," "only necessary," and "essential only." The tool also supports custom user-provided selectors for sites with unique implementations. Once a reject button is found, the tool clicks it and marks the site as processed in local storage to avoid repeated attempts. The engine runs on page load and after DOM mutations to catch dynamically loaded banners.

THE PANEL

The panel is draggable anywhere on the screen and remembers its position per site. It can snap to the left, right, top, or bottom edges, or float freely. Collapse it to a small status indicator when you need more page visibility, and expand it again with a single click. Resize it vertically or horizontally to see more settings. Press Escape to close the panel instantly. All settings (auto-reject, show notification, log sites, custom selectors) are saved globally and persist across sessions.

PLEASE NOTE

This tool requires the free BotGentz extension. It only clicks reject buttons; it does not block cookies or handle complex consent flows that require multiple steps. Some sites may use "manage preferences" flows that are not automatically handled. The tool works best on standard cookie banners with clear reject buttons. Websites change their layouts and banner implementations frequently; scripts may need updates, and we work to keep them current but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
