About this app
WHAT IT DOES
Cosmos Zone Explorer provides comprehensive visibility into the state of any Cosmos zone. It reads and displays zone status showing connected and operational states, chain ID for identification, current block height with real-time updates, block hash for verification, block timestamp for timing, block proposer identifying the block producer, validator set for the current block, validator voting power for each validator, active validator count for network participation, total bonded tokens across all validators, staking APR for return estimation, inflation rate for monetary policy, community pool balance for governance funds, total supply for tokenomics, circulating supply for market metrics, transaction count for activity tracking, transaction volume for throughput, IBC channel count for cross-chain connectivity, IBC transfer volume for inter-chain activity, active IBC connections for network topology, zone governance state for on-chain governance, proposal count for activity, proposal status for current proposals, parameter changes for configuration updates, chain upgrades for version tracking, account count for user adoption, token denomination for native asset, native token price for valuation, average block time for performance, network performance metrics for throughput, slashing events for security incidents, validator uptime for reliability, delegator count for participation, voting power distribution for decentralization, IBC relayer count for cross-chain infrastructure, interchain accounts for IBC account management, and packet count for IBC message volume. All data is organized in a clean dashboard with zone status indicators, validator statistics, IBC metrics, and governance information.
HOW TO USE
Connect your wallet to the tool and select the network where you want to explore Cosmos zones. Enter the chain ID, RPC endpoint, and native token denomination in the input fields. Click "Explore Zone" to connect to the Cosmos zone and retrieve current state. The tool will query the zone for block height, validator set, staking statistics, community pool balance, and IBC channel information. Results are displayed in organized cards showing zone status, chain ID, block height, block proposer, active validators, bonded tokens, staking APR, inflation rate, community pool balance, IBC channels, governance proposals, and voting power distribution. The tool works with any Cosmos zone accessible via an RPC endpoint.
THE MECHANISM
Cosmos Zone Explorer performs client-side simulation of zone exploration by aggregating state information from various Cosmos modules. The tool connects to the specified RPC endpoint and queries zone state including current block information, validator set, and staking statistics. Block height and hash are obtained from chain state queries. Validator set information is retrieved from the staking module, including voting power and validator status. Bonded token totals and staking APR are calculated from validator stake data and historical rewards. Inflation rate is queried from the mint module. Community pool balance is obtained from the distribution module. IBC channel counts and transfer volumes are retrieved from the IBC core module. Governance proposal data is queried from the gov module. The tool simulates the process of connecting to a Cosmos node, establishing a client, and querying multiple storage items efficiently using batch requests.
WHAT IT CANNOT SEE
Cosmos Zone Explorer cannot verify that the zone data is accurate without running a full node, as it relies on the RPC endpoint for data. The tool cannot detect if the zone is under active attack or experiencing consensus issues, as that requires monitoring validator behavior and network conditions. It cannot predict future network conditions or validator performance, as those depend on future events. The tool cannot verify that all IBC transfers are legitimate or complete, as IBC validation requires cross-chain verification. It cannot guarantee that the zone will remain stable or responsive, as network conditions may change. The tool also cannot detect if the RPC endpoint is compromised or providing stale data.
PLEASE NOTE
Cosmos Zone Explorer supports EVM-compatible chains only. The tool is a client-side simulation and does not execute or deploy code to any blockchain. Zone exploration results are for observation and diagnostics only. The tool is free to use and does not store or transmit any zone data off-device. Always verify RPC endpoints and chain IDs from official sources before relying on results.
